How far do you do commute in your S3 a day and how much do you spend of fuel a week?
Ta muchly

0 miles a day - I catch the train as I work in central London and walk to the station.

S3 is for weekends only

I get the use of a company vehicle. But i do use the A3 most weekends & also some time to come home from work & commute the next day if i feel like i have money burning a hole in my pocket! LoL

Earlier this year I was commuting to Cardiff from Reading - around 1200 miles a week. It was costing me £150-200 a week in fuel, not to mention the additional wear and tear. Fortunately I had to do it for a little over a month (in the S3). I did do 18 months of Reading to Southampton, that was almost 600 miles a month at about £100 a week in fuel.

about 18 miles there so 36 for 3-4 days a week, but at the moment Im doing a 60 mile round trip to the hospital every day ( which takes 1hr on crappy roads). I get 300- 350 miles per tank.

15 miles a day, plus out and about at weekends. Full tank of BP Ultimate every fortnight. Get about 320 miles out of the full tank.

Travel 60 miles a day to work and back. Used to cost me £50 a week with optimax put now costing £30 a week as use LPG :)

0 miles for me as I only use mine at weekends but because of this I drive it pretty hard and am lucky to get 200 miles to a tank of V Power.

72 miles per day - 1 hr each way

Costs around £50-55 a week.

Moving soon though so will be a bit better, saving about 100 miles a week.

I do about 20 miles central london and back a day, I put in about £35 a week. Have to pay congestion charge as well though :(

~76 miles per day, ~350 miles to a tank, and 45 quid-ish to fill up. So a bit over £45 per week.

Does anyone use one of THESE Shell pluspoint cards? Ovbiously a lot of people on here use V-power so it might be worthwhile. I've just joined up recently so havent got anything yet, but when you go to the petrol station every other day it feels like your getting something for it! lol

You have to use 35 litres of fuel a week in order to qualify.

I do about 15 miles a day and then out and about at the weekend. £25-£30 a week and about 300-320 a tank

80 miles / per day roundtrip.

Full tank every week (so say £50 in Diesel)

It cost a lot more in the S3, thats why she had to go!

There is one in Bermondsey funnily enough, but I always see Docurley's A4 parked just outside the congestion zone looking

I have one. If I can make the choice, I only ever put V-Power in my S3 so do quite well off it. I've just cashed in over 10k points for £70 in Next vouchers (Girlfriend wants to buy stuff for the house). That's about 6 months worth of points.

some interesting figures

30miles a day round trip for work
80 miles round trip twice a week travelling to and from girlfriends.

about 400miles from a tank with some occasional blasts

you only have to see the misses every 2 wks!!! i have to drive 120 miles nearly every wkend! but other than that my car only does like 10 miles a wk!

Is that the silver A4, lowered, nice rims? See that car nearly every day.

100ish miles a week into central london - £5 fuel, no congenstion charge. OK it's a 125cc Vespa then the S3 comes out at the weekend for fun. Only really manage about 280-300miles/tank.

...yep thats the one, near tower bridge road, was thinking of doing the scooter thing for commuting but I like the comfort of driving to much

Comfort is not too bad - till it p1sses down. Still prefer to the easy and lack of expense of the scooter even though it looks cack and beat up!

Road tax, Mot and insurance just paid - 185 all in. Just can't go wrong with it.

Where do you commute from silver75?

Ah the commute!!:racer:

I work from home so dont have the commute as such but still manage to do 45k miles a year in a Ford Ranger. Not the best desk chair in the world!
Getting about a rubbish 26 miles to the gallon but thats what the company bought us so thats what I drive a day every day.
Dont know how some of you guys do the 80 mile round trip in rush hour everyday!?
I get annoyed if I have to go into Dundee between 8 and 9:30 in the morning and that just takes about 20 mins to pass.
:banghead:

£20 every other day, 30 miles aday round trip plus going out on nights and weekends. costing an absolute fortune!!!!!!

82 miles a day on single lane A-roads. I do a 4 days on 4 days off shift so it keeps the petrol down to 1 tank every 8ish days.
