Speed limits

Ok picture the scene i'm driving back from work and i wanna get home. Going through a 60 limit road and the car infront of me is doing 30-40mph. Then we go into a 30 limit they carry on doing 40!?!? Do these people just drive everywhere at the same speed? Rawr rant over :motz:

This ****** me off every time I go out in the car, I'm surrounded by 60 limit roads and it's like 40 is the new 60. Then you get into a village where the limit's 30 and the old dear you've been climbing all over the back of pulls away from you like 40's the new 30.

And why is it that every time I overtake the 40mph motor in front of me does the car coming the other way flash me? Even though I'm back on my side, flashed him the V's and changed up a gear before we cross. Did I miss the new "Overtaking is Illegal" law coming into force or something?

Yea a lot of people seem to frown upon overtaking on A roads, nothing wrong with it though. Especially if the car in fronts doing half the speed limit.

There should be a limit on how slow you can go aswell lol

I get this all the time living in the country and i just over take them and if i am not in a hurry i will slow down and **** them off by making them go to 30.....imature i know but !!!!!!!!!

I know it too well - and the really annoying thing is who is the more dangerous driver? The one that causes others behind to line-up an overtaking move AND the one that breaks the speed limits in built up areas. Ridiculous.

We've got the 27 mph club in my village. If someone steams up behind you while you're doing 30 while all the kiddies are out playing, you slow down to 27 mph. Just noticable on a speedo to really **** them off!
