RS3 latest discounts

Kugaman.
I think you did the right thing for you in the end coz if you get a car that you don't really think you can afford or think that you are losing a fortune on then you won't enjoy the car. Big time buyers remorse ensues.Your S3 saloon with Stronic will be a good compromise.I think Simons in the Daytona looks great.
Snakes points are valid too.RS models do have a certain kudos and seem to hold their value well long term so hopefully the high premium(whilst agreed not justifiable on straight performance figures) for the RS badge and engine rip is worth it.
Mines gets delivered to the house 0700 hours on monday morning:cool new:

Some people aren't buying the car they really want they're buying the car with the biggest discount.

Can anyone recommend a dealer in the north west with good discount

I think someone mentioned Williams Audi Manchester for decent discounts.

Some people only have 'their OWN' hard earned to play with so 'obviously' look for best deal to suit their own pockets/requirements... :search:

Got it in one mate. I dont lease, I buy my cars, so the best value deal is high on the priority list.
£7k for an stronic saloon or £17k for an RS3? Im afraid common sense won that one!

GO Kugaman1; I've stayed schtum for too long listening to the writings of others pontificate of other peoples financial situations without owning up to their own but no names mentioned for now.

Years ago (while in employment) I supplied 3-wheel Reliant Robins to guys that had saved for years to be able to afford a 3-wheel Reliant Robin and believe me, or not, they were just as proud of that Reliant Robin as those I've seen collecting an Audi RS3.

I'm sure, like me and mine, that many have worked and saved hard for their RS3 only affording the specification they themselves can justify; so lets get some honesty here...

I did pretty well with a cancelled order at Bolton Audi, I've had nothing but issues dealing with Preston/Blackburn Audi. Also, GC Motors in Harrogate have 3/4 in at the moment all at good prices.

But your figures dont account for current discounts.

The RS3 I ordered was going to cost me £17k plus my S3. - and that was with an unprecedented 8% discount.

The S3 saloon Ive ordered is costing me £6800 plus the S3.

The S3 saloon has 19" wheels, adaptive suspension, S-tronic plus a few options added, etc.

When you look at it that way, it means the RS3 is £10k more than the S3 saloon and almost £12k more than the sportback.

Thats what made me cancel my RS3 order. I just didnt see it as a good way to spend my mo ey. Without a doubt, the engine sounds epic, but in everyday use, its hardly quicker and similarly specced to the saloon. Mind you, did I say, the engine sounds epic!........did I mention the noise?

I just dont think that its anything like £10k more of a car......its ****** good, but not £10k+ good!

Oh yes it is! After 12 days and 650 miles I am well and truly hooked. 32mpg on 1 150 mile trip... 18 around town ;-)

Ok I will give them a go to see what they will do thanks. I've been told that the RS3 will NOT be getting a facelift? Is that correct?

Nobody knows loads say no loads say end 2017 loads are just guessing.

Audi are masters at controlling supply & demand .... & consequently pricing :moneybag::moneybag:

Ok I will give them a try too thanks! Dealers told me that no new RS3 are being made only stock is available now?!
Hope not mine's meant to being built next month.

Think you've had it Andy tell you what you can get mine for the cossie

Maybe the RS3 might be getting a facelift which is why the cars are delayed?!

Maybe there changing to the saloon tooling maybe they just went on holiday

Or just possibly there's nothing changed and there still building them?

Maybe maybe but I'm guessing an RS3 facelift is on the way within the next 6 months!

I buy my cars outright too. Common sense to me was an RS3 but we are all different!

I'm hoping people wait for it and it never arrives, now that would be ******* hilarious!

i have spoken to a lot of dealers over the last week to see if I could find the right colour and speck I want. Finally found it at west London Audi and with 8% discount negotiated placed my deposit to collect this Friday. After asking all dealers I spoke to about face lift, answers were very similar. Orders starting around September with 1st deliveries March at the very earliest. The Changes again very similar between branches with new grill/bumper, matrix lights and virtual cockpit display. If there had been getting a facelift model in next 6 months I would have defiantly wated but a year wait at best, not a chance!

Your prediction from last month might end up being more accurate than you thought lol :crystalball:

Looks like there will be no face lift for the foreseeable, certainly no overlap or transition like Merc did with the A45 AMG, could even be well into next year ........ welcome to a very exclusive club Mr TX :sunglasses:

As far as l know the RS3 saloon with 400 bhp will make an appearance before the 400bhp hatchback.....said it months ago.
