Did this a few weeks ago but its been my first chance to do a quickie write up on it

Having tried a few tyre dressings I've always been left a little disappointed and always deferred back to my long time fave, Meguiars Endurance Tyre Gel

So having heard a lot about Obsessions Wax's Nero tyre dressing I thought I'd give it a go

My 'test mule' being my S4

My preferred choice of application weapon being a new Flexipads tyre dressing applicator pad

No 'action' shots I'm afraid

I did all four tyres, honest, but the pics are of the FOS wheel / tyre only

So. Tyre well scrubbed with a strong APC solution and dried off completely

Instead of spraying the OW Nero onto the tyre direct I sprayed it onto the applicator pad. For me, a lot less mess & less product used

Loved the finish the Nero gives. Not to shiny not to matt for me. The photo's don't really do it justice
The product itself is very thin & watery so goes along way
Its goes on way easier than the Megs IMHO
I've yet to test the durability

£9.95 + P&P

The product is marketed as a 'tyre, interior & trim dressing'. I haven't tested it on the interior or trim

@Bristle Hound jinx! I was wondering about getting the Tyre Slik as have used it in past with good results and it's just so easy. Decision made. Will round some up from the shops this weekend. Thanks BH! :)

@S32B - if your buying the 5litre version a spray bottle will be fine
The 500ml tin is an aerosol spray

Cheers, seen it a few times in there but didn't want to buy such a large quantity if it was rubbish :) Used my last bit of Simoniz tyre shine yesterday, that's OK if you can get it on a 3 for 2 deal....don't know if I'd pay full price for it though.

That's a great price for 5 litres of the Silk. It's normally £5.50 ish for 500ml spray can. Bargain if you ask me.

You can get sponge applicators specifically shaped for tyres, I'll photograph mine and post it.

I heard that if you're on a budget an old shoe shine pad works well though obviously not cut to shape.

I use torn up pieces of a large cheap car sponge to apply my Meg's Endurance. Laborious but gives great coverage.
