What do you hate???

Hillsborough, they are the most IGNORANT SELFISH drivers on the planet and if i could i would:gun2: trouble is i have to go through there every day :scared2::sob:

Don't you just hate when someone pulls out of their drive onto a main road and smacks into the side of your car as you're passing? I know I do...

It's now in Audi's repairers (Hatfield). New back door, possibly new front door and alloy. Not sure it there's any sill damage as the back door wouldn't open. :(

No hate here but Mertesacker is so effing slow! He needs to be sacked! Chelsea kicked the Gunners asses today! So :rage:

Sorry to hear, hope it all gets sorted out quickly for you. @Artimus

Did they drive out, or reverse out??

I just don’t understand when I see people reversing out from a driveway, why didn’t they reverse in and drive out!! :rage:

Thanks @Ghost

It happened right on Speed Camera road markings, so he couldn't say I was speeding and he admitted full liability. It shouldn't be very long being repaired, but the repairers gave me a 15 plate TT courtesy car, so maybe they'll want to maximise the hire charges and I'll be kept waiting?

He actually drove out forwards from behind a parked car ..which I believe belongs to the same household. He stopped, watched the car 30ft in front of me pass, then he looked the other way (saw his head turn through the glass of parked car) and accelerated into me. He was totally looking the wrong way, so I didn't expect him to move. I realised he was starting to pull out just as I was level with the front of the parked car and I swerved to get a bit more room between us, but he had gassed it hard. :(

My in laws when it comes to cars. Flipping muppets!!!!!

Right my sister in law leaves work as her boy had a minor accident at school and she had to meet him at A & E. Runs out of fuel so she rings my wife (her sister) can you come with a fuel and fill it up? So off she went. Now I never knew this and after I got a phone from them both stressing on the motor way this fiesta's fuel tank has a special cap to stop thieves getting in there (after I youtubed it) and the car has a special plastic tube that goes in the fuel tank so that your fuel can, can then be used with it. Now I am no expert on cars but I know a little bit and my dad taught me a few things like looking after a car and how to change tyres etc. Now when she went to go buy a car I was too busy to look but I told her and husband what to look for and what to ask and try to knock them down at Ford. Did the complete opposite and we got into a argument over it and I said don't come crying to me when its f***ed!!! Not once have they looked at the manual or checked the tool kit otherwise this simple problem would not have turned into a massive saga and a RAC call out. When it happened I said to my niece does dad ever check your car?? NO!!!! Last month she says to me my steering is really heavy. I looked at the car and the front tyres had the wire poking out where they where really bald. I had a moan and I told her this why I moan at you and say pump those tyres and if something don't feel right on that car tell me straight away. Its for your SAFETY!!!!

Even last year I was out with a few blokes and someone had a small issue with there car so every pointed at me to sort it out. Now we where between the ages of 30 and 60 and not one person had a tool kit in there car!!!! I said to them did you not check inside it when you brought??? At of 10 blokes none of them have or read the manual. I don't get it?????

I feel your pain mate! No one in my family, or even close family members knows anything about cars! And when anything car related pops up, they will give me a bell for advice, like I'm some car encyclopaedia!

They don't understand why I love cars and love tinkering, they think I'm wasting my time and money! Lol

Have they not heard of hobbies ***!?

I was giving my S3 a deep clean Saturday at my wifes unit as she said shes not having any customers that day so I was free to take my time. So after washing it I got it inside. She came over and said a customer is dropping off his drag car for graphics to be fitted today and not Monday but he won't long. Anyway got my car inside to DA my wax on to it and the car was spotless. He comes in the unit and says to her oh can I just go through with you again where I want the graphics. For what ever reason he wants to use my car to show her!!!!! He put a big hand print on my roof!!!! Now usually when customers are about and acting stupid I just keep quite as its not my business but apparently my face was a picture. I said excuse me PAL can you not touch my car I have spent hours cleaning. Go touch up your own FRIGGING CAR!!!! I'm sorry but its a unwritten rule. Never touch another mans car UNLESS HE SAID YOU COULD

The bonnet will need repolishing now. Problem is the more slippery the more damage! I can't forgive myself to tie them to the wife's car...

ASN members/contributors posting anti-ASN comments on other websites - all innocent like...

Takes all sorts I guess... :sadlike:

Hmmm...
I wonder if that was anything to do with yesterday's rant...?

No Jake 61, I don't know about "yesterday's rant" or where; just felt it was time to make the comment on ASN and I like ASN and think Sandra in particular provides amazingly good support to any and everyone.

And I don't 'hate', that's way to strong; 'sad' that such comments are made maybe...

I agree @45bvtc I always look at ASN as being a friendly site with a good bunch of people working to keep it that way.
And you're right, hate is a strong word, much misused. Irritate, would be more like it.
