New car and looking to wash/polish/wax

I just bought my first car in december. and now the weather is getting better I want to buy produts to wash wax and polish my car. Its a white 10 plate 8p a3.

I have bought a micofibre wash mit and 2 buckets for the 2 bucket method. Also bought microfibre drying clothes to dry the car.

Do i need pre wash stuff to put on the car?

Which shampoo and polish/wax should i use. which order is best.

I assume i need some alloy wheel cleaner and tyre paint?

Unless there are some paint defects, swirls, scratches contaminents etc, stay away from polish (which is abrasive).

Use a PH neutral shampoo, other than that the world is your oyster. We all have favourite waxes, often called glazes, I prefer Zymol products but there;s literally thousands of products.

try Detailing World and read up on there, you need to make your own mind up but based on the experience of others.

Polish - Autoglym Super Resin Polish or Dodo Juice Need For Speed
