yourAudi - Track New Car Order

My dealer said that my build week would be 25th jan, however on the tracker it showed 18th. On the 14th the car started going through all the build stages on the line until quality control. However audi uk and the dealer insisted it was due to be built on the 25th, so the tracker did not leave quality control for 9 days until after the 25th. My dealer said the tracker just says your car is being built when its not and will change up until quality control when it is actually built. Cars are being built when the tracker is on quality control not before hence the long waits in qc. After QC however the tracking is pretty accurate. Ive been going by the source code of the tracker which gives more information. The tracker is highly inaccurate up until your car is actually built.
 
How do you get the code? And what does each code relate to?

It's not that accurate....mine has said its delivered to the dealers a week ago (code 70) went there today only to be told 'no it's not arrived yet'...wait...what!

it might be at the dealers group's compound not at your actual dealer, as my mates car showed arrived but was actually at the group (listers) compound not the actual dealer
 
Mine has been pretty spot on all the way through. QC was only about 5 days for me then in transit. When I asked my dealer he confirmed it was in Emden waiting shipment. Spot on. Mine went into the assembly stages a few days before 25th which was the scheduled build week

He said they are still waiting for it to be delivered from the transporter...
they have also run out of room to store it. They are having to hire more storage land as they have over 200 cars to store for the 1st March

Nobody knows where it is? but it's a possibility though....as long as it turns up for collection day

Just checked now the youraudi website is back up and it says it is in the UK!

Just checked API and that's 5 day QC then 7 day transit from leaving factory to UK entry.

What link are you using 'cause I'm still getting the 'Wrong Turn'?!
 
Mine has been showing it to be in QC for the last 8 days yet the build start date is tomorrow !!
 
My tracker says its in the uk but the it's on status 39 which means shipping so the tracker is obvs not 100% true. The next ship to arrive at Grimsby from Emden is tomorrow night (EMS Highway). So I'm guessing my car is on that ship.
 
I informed Audi that the mobile site was broken. Their web developers have now fixed the issue! Back up and running on phones.

Is there an "average" time from order received to arrived at dealer?

According to the tracker mine is due to start build on the 22nd of Feb.

I got notified via 'MyAudi' that my S3 had arrived at my dealers '0047' on the 30/01/16 and is at 'Code70' which means someone has scanned the barcode on the car. I went to the dealers on Saturday 6th and they say it hasn't even arrived yet, spoke to my sales guy again today and still no joy. AudiUK have also failed to trace it .....so.....where the feck is it?

Expected Build date = 1st Feb

Preparation = 23rd Jan
Panel shop = 28th Jan
Paint shop = 29th Jan
Assembly = 30th Jan
Quality control = 1st Feb
Left factory = 10th Feb

Why have I been the only one to have a super short 5 day QC compared to everyone elses 9+ days. I thought I added a fair few options, unless they spend less time QCing the lower trim levels as they do the SLine and S3. Surely not..

Oh well. It is swanning its way to the dealership apparently. Wouldn't have thought that would take long surely it's just putting it on one of those 6 car carrier lorrys for a few hours from Grimsby or Sheerness...

Glad they found your car, any idea what happened to it?

Just got the email i have been waiting for, your S3 has arrived at the dealership and will be ready to collect next Thursday,excited is an understatement!!

Cool. Mine should be ready for 1st March as well hopefully. I have an appointment booked at 5pm to collect on that day.

Selling my vw golf privately and my dealer offered to lend me a car 10 days prior to pick up if I sell it in time.

Car now on order status 38. Released to a designated ship.

Car is on code 60. Transit to the centre. Also be picking it up on the 1st of March. Got given a 16 reg plate already.
