Hi all,

Posting this here as this section is very active and I am myself an S3 owner.

Anyway, my partner left work this afternoon to find that somebody has reversed in to the side of her A1. The damage is just above the rear passenger side wheel arch.

Has anybody had anything of a similar nature repaired? Unfortunately no CCTV or witness so just awaiting a few quotes. Can anyone advise on a rough price I should expect.

Cheers guys!

Hi I've been in the trade for over 20 years and repaired a lot worse good panel beater will repair that no problem at all

That looks very repairable and the paint doesn't look damaged.

I know a very good company in Buckinghamshire if that is anywhere near you.

Yep , my daughter had a repair on that type . They used suction cup and some long rods they inserted inside the panel through screw holes for the door catch.
Impressive to see.

they are good these dent people and they have surprised me over the years but that has creased around the inner arch so will be difficult to get it 100% right without repair and re painting

That sucks mate...
Accidents happen that's life. What gets me is the people who do this don't have the balls to own up to what they have done and just ****** off..If I was unfortunate to bump some one I would go out of my way to find the owner and swap details..There are some selfish and ****** people in this world....Grrr Rant over...

There are some to$$ers out there.

Looks repairable, Id estimate £400.

Call a dent repair man, I've seen them work wonders.

Not good to hear about the damage.

But as mentioned methrods of repair have advanced and if paint is not damaged / cracked this can be repaired by aforementioned dent removal companies. IF this does crack when popped out however it will be a whole different story as this will require the panel to be resprayed and thats when costs can spiral. As always go with recommendations / word of mouth.

no way, had a scuffed paint scrap about the size of a 10p piece on the my s3 and some scrapes - place I took it too has done some work for me before and charged £125. This should be about £200 max. They are an Audi, Honda, BMW, etc repairer
