Hi there just wondering if anyone has ever done this... changed the rubbish front pistol jets for the much better fanned sprayers? My jets are clipped into the rain tray and not the bonnet as I've seen them done on other models.
My ****** jets keep blocking so I've removed and cleaned the jets and flushed the water bottle out a few times, but I'd rather upgrade if possible.
cheers in advance!!!!

5MO 955 986 9B9 is the heated jet part number

you need these shims too, they take the slack up and stop you having the need to use silicone/glue 8E0955431

yeah you may not need them but they are only a couple of quid so better to have them when fitting then to wait for them. In the matter of clogging, I use distilled water so no mineral deposits

Can anyone remember how much the heated fan jets are and shims

Search ebay £8 the pair from hong kong and the shims were under £3 the pair i got mine from vw

Genuine jets are nearer to £30 EACH!!

If someone fancies finding us idiots the eBay links to the parts that'd be swell.

Is there any difference between the two links @LEE69 and do you have a link to those shims you talked about? Might just order these at the weekend :)

No idea in any difference the shims i got from vw themselves

I'm not 100% convinced they are heated, just dug out my originals and the wiring socket is pretty in ya face.

Just watch out for the part numbers guys-

5M0955985C9B9 are non heated
5M0955986C9B9 are heated
