Hi guys,

open this thread to show you my little lady and the step by step work :)! During this year I started to work a bit on her after 1 year of driving.

First step was Revo Stage 1 100RON + Revo Air filter Intake to bring her at 320ps (roughly). I still have to test her! Second step was the suspension system since the default one was to bouncy! I went with KW V3 lowering her around 4cm (I think, I forgot to measure the before/after).

Now I'm struggling...I need to choose some rims for the winter set. I think i'm gonna chose the OZ Superturismo GT Black+Red Lettering...
Last but not the least I'll mount a GFB DV+ in 2 or 3 weeks from now! Hope to get a better throttle response!

P.s The two pics are taken in Monza Circuit! Beautiful experience!!

Great looking car mate!
I'm running a Forge Turbo Delete, very good,
Faster Turbo Spool,improved response.

Awesome! I saw the Turbo Muffler Delete and I'll definitely put on my car along with the GFB to optimise the response of the car! First you should get HP, then you should optimise them xD

I'm assuming the KW coilovers don't work with the Audi drive select modes. Are you getting errors?

They comes with 4 "suppressors" that you should attach to the cable that previously was attached to the coilovers. Since the v3 are adjustable you can go set up both compression, rebound and height. Based on the setup you could get a softer suspension respect to the original or a stiffer one.

Here we go again!! Finally I put the OZ Superturismo GT with Nokian WRa3 and the awesome GFB DV+! Now the turbo kicks in right away!

Great looking car!
have you got any side on pictures with the new alloys fitted?

Yea just like that thank you.
I already have the forge dv fitted and was on sale so was nice and cheap.
Like s1 Pete away to buy the turbo delete also.

Awesome! The GFB for my s1 was a little expensive since the S3/Golf R is needed

I thinking about the turbo too! But right now my biggest concern is the brake system!

nokian tyres !!!!! its not the brakes id be worried about !!!

It's the brakes! Can't handle anymore 320hp expecially after Monza Circuit

Nokian are good enough for the weather here in Italy. I always felt comfortable with those tires! Especially since I drive with the p-zero on wet surfaces !!!

dont know about in italy but here in the uk cheap chinese tyres are pure rubbish better off wrapping elastic bands round your rims ! lol
your rims look good though , are they 8x18 et 35 ?

The grip is ok so i'm ok :)! Nope, 7x17 since winter tires 225/18 are impossibile to find in italy. My main rim will be the standard one since It's my favourite :) I wanna keep the look as close as standard as possibile!!

The problem are the calipers...I love the tarox kit but i don't like theirs calipers...:(

Could you post a link on where to buy? (GFB)
Is it easy to fit?
So this can work together with the Turbo Delete?
Thanks,Pete.

Just to Check its the T9359 DV + that works also with the S3/Golf R ?

Yes is that one! I don't know if fits with the turbo deleted but I think it can!

It's not so easy since there is not so much space, I'll definitely suggest to let someone to install it!

So is this a replacement for the turbo delete,
it basically does the same thing?
Faster Turbo Spool,Improved Response?

Yup the outcome it's the same but I know know how the delete work so I'm not able to compare the two

They are two separate parts. One is an extension onto the dump valve while the other replaces the muffler to a straight pipe. You should be able to fit both.

Thank you J-Dan, I thought that they were two separate parts but i wasn't sure ;)

Confused!, as been told I need item number T9351 for the S1,
and not the T9359 as been used by gmeroni.

Since the revo stage 1 and the will to go further suggested me to use the 9359

But hey, feel free to use what you think it's best for you!

Thanks for that,
Just ordered the 9351via Balance Motorsport Uk.
I'm running stage one with a DTUK Box, Very Happy with this unit,
together with the Pipercross Filter /Intake, oh! and Turbo Delete!
Also soon to be installed D/V!

You won't regret this upgrade ;)

Next step for me is to fit 13 and 16mm spacers

I'm sure I read somewhere that they loose power on these with a dv fitted?
The dump valve is used to blow of the compressed air of the turbo once the throttle is shut. It has no effect on the cars performance. The only thing it could effect is the throttle response that is if you fit an atmospheric.

From the GFB site:

The solenoid coil itself from the factory-fitted valve is great (the ECU opens it faster than any pneumatic valve so why replace it?), but the problem is the plastic piston valve mechanism. So GFB’s DV+ solves this problem by replacing just the valve parts with an anodised billet aluminium housing fitted with a brass piston machined to exacting tolerances.

The end result is sharper throttle response, lightning-fast valve actuation, and it will hold as much boost as you can throw at it. Read all about the DV+ story below.

...

Rather than using the solenoid to directly actuate the valve, we’ve introduced a unique “pilot-actuation” system. This means the solenoid controls the air pressure that is used to open and close the piston, so it doesn't matter how much boost you push through it, the DV+ will open and close reliably without ever exceeding the solenoid’s capability.

This feature also improves on the factory system by opening the valve progressively in response to boost pressure, so it only opens as much as required to get the job done (the factory valve simply opens and shuts, it cannot partially open if boost pressure is low), resulting in better throttle response.

Could someone tell me please what DV+ to order as I see there are 2 part numbers t9351 or t9359

I'm running the 51, bit fiddly to fit, removing the
secondary air line helps.
Also a large towel underneath just in case a loose bolt drops!
Made a great difference with my DTUK Box,(stage 1) will
do for me.

What spacers and did you have trouble fitting them please

I think the brand is Racemax but i'm not sure! As you can see with 13mm and 16mm (for the rear) the look is great. I spry them with some black paint to hide them a bit more :)

Someone else said there was a ridge on the hub which needed to be ground off, is that correct or do these spacers go straight on ?

Nope, was an easy mount! No ridge! Just put some chopper grease (i don't know if this is the correct name in english) and that's it! The most important part is to tight the bolts when the car is lift up, then again when the wheel is on the ground and finally one more after some kilometers.
