What have you done to your A4 b6 today?

At the other end of the technical scale, binned the old siren batteries and replaced with a Varta battery I found on eBay £5-99.

Great pictures mate that's a nice add to the bottom pockets have you got a link of the LEDs you used do you have to use diode LEDs

For the doorhandle I used some called 3mm xlazer with only a 30 degree spread.
For the door compartment I used normal 3mm diodes with a 120 degree spread
These are bought in Denmark but I think you can buy similar anywhere

Swapped the oem one out with a new 3 mm diode.. Any will do, as the oem one has resistors to it..
Very dull

Quite like the glow in the door pocket but I did look at retrofitting the handle lights but didn't bother, I have loads of LEDs and resistors hers so could mess around until I got a brightness I like, I have red led footwell lights that have been wire to use as ambient lighting so the door pockets could just finish it off.

I hope you gave it a good Hoover whilst all stripped out. A weekend very well spent.

Cleaned the seat belts on the S4. They are a light coloured belt to match the silver (looks cream) seats. The drivers side one was absolutely minging and wasn't returning very well, after a scrub with a nail brush and some soapy water they came up a treat AND! Fitted a new dipstick as I broke my old one

Did you remove the B pillar cover, or just roll out the seat belt?? Mine is not retracting very well, and have tried to clean it, but seems like it's the part of the seat belt that's under the cover that needs cleaning as well

it does the same, but i prefer the wording on the b7 to the b6 one, just a bit anal i guess.
after being told about, I now want a b7 stalk. Mine is ugly and has no wording, just a picture!! If I fit cruise control, I'll fit a b7 wiper stalk. Thanks for the info Neil.

I sorted out my windshield washer jet and transformed it from a roof washer back into windshield washer. I'm impressed. It was actually spraying the roof.

I also added some S4 mirror caps, fixed my drivers side heated mirror and installed some lovely S4 Xenon headlights and added some white parking light bulbs to them. They are a great upgrade from the stock headlights. The parking bulbs are a good upgrade too. The stock ones were very dim and very yellow. New ones are a bit brighter and match the dipped headlights better.

Next on the list is to get those headlight lenses cleaned up.

I just pulled the belt out as far as it would go, I then scrubbed it with warm soapy water and a nail brush. I'd heard that pledge/furniture polish works well on sticky/slow returning seat belts, so once they had dried, I sprayed both sides of the belt and wiped them down and it worked a treat.

all ive done today is to get rid of the 60ah battery and fit a 120ah battery. the engine turns over much better .

Damn I wish I had the money,.. Did you fit it yourself?

i got a really good deal on it i couldn't refuse, no i didn't fit it myself i did contemplate it but with having a 1 year old and a new job there isn't much time on the hands so i got a really good guy to fit for me that way it was going to be back with me much quicker than if i was to do it on evenings after work. :)
