Hi Guys,

Wonder if you can help, i've currenty got the 3G system which i've updated to the latest firmware and 2015 maps.

Now i'm wonder can i add a second MMI or Aux input. I don't want to lose my IPOD MMI as i've got a lot of music on there, but i thought if i have an AUX input i can add a bluetooth device so i can also stream from my phone.

Anyone got any suggestions?

I've found this... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/131179619926?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT

thanks

So you already have AMI (Audi Music Interface) with an iPod adapter, and you want to add a second AMI Port in addition to the one you have already?
As far as I know, that not possible. Also as far as I know, that link you posted wont work, unless there is something different about the 3G system that I don't know.
the MMI (Multi Media Interface) found in Audi's uses the MOST system to communicate between modules, it is a fiber optic loop. To add devices, they need to be compatible with that system, and there aren't many that are. I dont think you can add a second AMI device to the loop. However, the Dension GW500s BT would allow you to connect both an iPod and via Bluetooth. I am hesitant to recommend one however as they are £315, and I am currently waiting for a refund on mine as it was faulty and unreliable.
