I've got a 2.5 v6 TDI and I'm running a Cat Back system with no resonater, or back boxes, who's decated there's, any pics of the the system?

I'm debating removing my 2 post cats but unsure
 
I had my B6 2.5 decatted (2 main cats) and the rest was straight through. No pics though I'm afraid.
Sounded awesome, it wasn't too loud and it didn't drone. Torque was better low down too. Mine was all cut out and welded with straight stainless pipe by a garage.

I had all intentions of fitting my gutted pre-cat (one straight after the turbo) but never got around to doing it before selling the car. So I have a gutted pre-cat for sale if you're interested.

Sounds good man, so you had a straight pipe from the first cat? They removed the other 2 cats, garage I'm using says it's hard to weld up around where the cats are, how much?

The garage I used just plasma cut the old post cats, centre box and rear boxes off. Then shaped and welded in stainless pipe in the missing places. My pre-cat wasn't touched.

I purchased a gutted pre-cat to fit (this allowing me to keep my pre-cat incase of any mot implications or I didn't like any increase of noise [if there will be any])

I'll dig the pre-cat over the weekend and get some pics. £20 posted? It needs one bolt as there is a stud missing. Any standard m8/m10 stainless bolt would do.

Ahhhh so what did you do for MOTs? I'm thinking of opening the cats up and then removing the insides or are these cats worth more as whole to weight in or sell?

I had to argue the toss that the car still had a cat on it. Mot doesn't define how many cats should be on, just states it should have a cat from manufacture.

Hence not replacing the pre-cat with a 3" down pipe.
 
Yeah I get that, think I'll leave the 1st cat so if they question it I'll show them my one in the bay, and then delete box 2 and 3
