Just collected my wifes new 1.4 SLine.

One little nag that seems pointless....

Every time you turn on the ignition, it beeps and displays "passenger airbag active" is there not any way to turn this off? Its a bit annoying!

Agree with you on that one... Is yours a 150 Kuga... If so what do you think of the performance. Only done 100 miles but it feels like a jet propelled roller skate.. many smiles to the gallon! Hope the RS3 is as much fun in 30 days time!

Doesn't sound right, I have the same model I get the message but it's never beeped.

No mate its the 122? Its the wifes car and its only done 70 miles so far, she is taking it easy...does yours make a beep noise also? Im soooo jealous your getting an RS3. We drove a Nardo Grey one at Aberdeen Audi. Gave it quite a hard time but absolutely LOVED it. Problem is, I cannot justify another £15k on top of the trade in price of my S3 for a pretty small performance hike. Mind you, the noise was EPIC!!!! Man Id love the RS3 in the Aberdeen showroom...Sepang Blue, black pack, lots of spec but its £50k! That would be mine plus £25k....when you sit in it in the showroom, it kind feels like £2k more, not £25k!

Mark, is yours the facelift model?

Hmm, thats odd.
I did a bit more research online and it seems so e people have this beep, others dont!

I also have a 65 plate S-Line 1.4 150 (from Aberdeen Audi too!) which doesn't beep. My old 2011 A1 didn't beep with that warning either, to my recollection, although that one did have a habit of beeping every now and then for no apparent reason.

I have a 2011 model and mine bongs when the message is displayed. I agree it seems a bit pointless to make such a big deal about the passenger airbag being on
