A6 Avant Le Mans and Special Edition Models

Yep you just need an iphone holder to use it, they are available :)

Simon - don't suppose you have owned a Porsche 968 before?

I have, and still do. It's my weekend toy :sunglasses:

The clue being in the username, I guess that you may have owned one too?

I might have a look for a phone holder, but no doubt they won't be cheap either.

Ha ha thought so, yes I had one, a really nice sorted sport one was my daily untill I managed to flip it and roll it...don't ask :(
Probably one of the best handling cars I have ever driven, still miss it to this day!

Not many un molested examples left!!

Oops, that's a shame, I hope you didn't get injured in the accident.

I love my 968, its just a humble coupe though as I like my creature comforts.
I've had it for almost 9 years now. Midnight blue with light grey leather and 17" Cup 1 wheels. Only downside is the original owner also specified it with light grey (off white to you and me) carpets to match the upholstery!

968

No I was very very lucky and they are very strong cars!!

HA ha sounds nice even with the light grey trim, mine was polar silver with black interior, and owned it for 4 years

Thanks, it was the midnight blue with the light leather that sold it to me when I saw it on the previous owners drive.

I'm thinking that the A6 might need a new thermostat as it seems to take a long time to warm up. Certainly longer than the CC did anyway.

Is it possible to activate full postcode search on the sat nav?
I'm sure I saw someone write that it was, possibly B5NUT, but can't find the post again now.

Full post code isn't possible on genuine software.

Hacked/custom software is possible. Try googling Hazzydayz, I believe he offers this software, but it cost substantially more than the genuine stuff from the guy in the link I posted earlier

Just checked the software and it appears that I have the MMI High, with HDD, not the DVD based system. Result!

You should have 3D buidings on the display when using the satnav as well then, nice one.

Sorry to hijack but is there any way to get full postcode search on MMI 2g high?

Thanks

Just a quick update - 17" wheels from a VW Scirocco do fit over the brakes on a 2.7 TDI and being 8" wide they fill the arches quite well too.
