yourAudi - Track New Car Order

Mine was build week 3, left the factory on the 15th but has yet to make it to the uk !! :cry:

I seen that !! ... Very jealous ... Which dealer if you dont mind me asking ? Mine is Crewe so the car gets shipped to Grimsby , maybe yours went to different port? You holding out until March 1st?

Where are both of your dealers? Does it say on youraudi which port it arrived at?

Mine hasnt arrived at the port yet but i know its definitely Grimsby for Crewe Audi as i've had a couple before this one

My dealer is Audi Stirling, I'm not sure what port it went to though and it doesn't say in MyAudi either.
I'm going to hold out till the 1st March for resale value purposes, as I'm putting my PPlate on it anyway. Still to hear from my sales guy, so if he starts waving decent discounts around to pick it up earlier I may be tempted.

Gonna go and have a wee look at it at the weekend

Gents,

I am a bit lost, I just received my VIN number, entered this in myaudi website, and I can now see full specs (I have not verified yet) but I have no clue where I can track production: I know it is being manufactured this week.

In which section of the website do we see this ? Even on the iphone app, I could not find what you show here, just the car specs... help !

You need to go on the yourAudi website and create an account and enter in the order number to track the progress.
 
Yep. Youraudi prior to delivery. Myaudi once you own it really.
 
How have your got your VIN prior to it being built and delivered. That's something on the car itself isn't it?

I was thinking the same. Maybe it's been built already and the dealer has the details. Strange.

VIN is allocated as soon as manufacturing starts.

I have no idea if I can use the UK website to track production of my car.
I cannot find the french or german equivalent ??

And if I find it, what order number do I need ? I thought I needed the VIN number ? :/
 
If you ask your dealer they should be able to provide the Order number.
 
My dealer called it to com or commission number, so perhaps ask them for that?
 
My current status is status 38. Which according to my dealer means it's in the port of exit released. Does this mean it's left port and on the ship ?
 
My car is finally on the boat,been waiting on the docks for 3 weeks!!!!!!!

Wow, it's so cool to have a live update of production... I emailed my dealer in Germany.... no feedback since... just VIN number.
Anyway, I should have keys in approximately 2 weeks.

Yeah that's nice of Scott to email you like that. No communication from my dealer. Just tracking it myself on the site.

I think my car was on that container, build week 3 and still not landed in the uk haha!! At leasts its getting closer to March so i wont have to wait to long for the new plates :)
 
Burnsa89. Was your car on that ship? Worth checking with your dealer if it was as it will probably be wrecked and need rebuilding.
 
That ship from the news article was heading to France/Spain and looked to have crossed the Atlantic, or come from that direction..
 
Hmmmm since tonight the your Audi link no longer works. Wrong turn. Anyone else getting the same?

Im getting that too. Thought as mine had been delivered.
 
How crap is this hope it's back soon I'm nightshift for a few weeks a was looking forward to build starting shortly and seeing it progress at my lunchtime

Yeah mine was due out of qc any day now. I'll call Audi customer services later to see if it's coming back. Looks like they have redesigned their website.
 
Just rang them. Seems to be something to do with their new Audi mobile website. Do it on a desktop and it works fine. Audi.co.uk and then your Audi top right. Just doesn't work from mobile. Still in qc :(

So I went there today to have s sneak peek at it....only to be told....'erm...it hasn't arrived yet...?

WTF!.....where is it?
 
I think the app lies and makes out they build the car over a longer period of time where in fact it's built very quickly on the production line. Mine says its in quality control. However the dealer contacted me yesterday and told me it's due to be built next week!!! Don't know what to believe!
 
It's incredibly unreliable, i'm still on stage 10 but it insists my car is due to start construction in 2 days time on the 8th. Dealer says it's actually starting on 15th
