When did Audi begin selling the S3 8V Saloon?

Hi all,

Specifically S3 8V Saloon... when did Audi begin selling these??

Just curious. I assume it wasn't 2012 with the rest of the 8V range as there are none on autotrader any older than a 64 plate

I think the A3 saloon was introduced in spring 2014. They were in very short supply until towards the end of 2014.
I ordered my saloon in March 2014 with delivery in October 2014.
