Ill apologise firstly as I don't have a 8P but you guys are alot more active than the b7 section.

So the pcv valve has gone my my a4 tfsi, I've been looking into replacing it and seems a lot of people delete it with a lot from forge, revo etc.

Is it worth doing as its around the same price to delete the valve as it to replace! What's the pro's and con's to deleting it?

Pros.....works better and is much more reliable that Audi's solution.

Con...doesn't stop the inlet valves getting gunked up.

So it won't hurt to use one over the standard valve? I understand it won't completely delete the pcv setup and the inlet valves will still get coaked up.

Any recommendations which to go for?

No,it'll be fine.

All of the good ones like Forge and Revo are fine.

I use the forge , as it was the cheapest at the time, but it's just basically a plate of metal so any of the named brands will prob be exactly the same

Thanks Alex.

Seen creation Motorsport offer one but I'm wary of their products.

Later PCVs are much stronger than the early ones so you might want to consider just buying a new one.

Will I need to change the gasket at the same time of will it be fine with using the blanking kit?
