Ok thanks choosing pads is a complete nightmareNever used them on the S3 but used them extensively over a period of about 6 years in different light weight race cars. Superb pads, possibly the best I have ever used (in this specific application), they make DS2500's feel wooden in comparison, brilliant consistancy but only up until about 450Deg over that they struggle, superb wear rate, easy on rotors its a very positive picture. They were however sqeally when cold but that went away in a couple of hard presses, cold bite not so good either. Not sure how they would fair in a heavy car like the S3, better than DS2500's for power and fade resitance but lack of cold bite and the noise might be to much for the road.

I can only assume that the construction on the pagid Blues is somewhat different from that of their OEM supply pads. No brass rivets on the 9 sets I have sat in my garage. Some down to near their backing plate and I can see anything untoward.Pagid make the OEM pads for the RS3: them Pagids use 8-brass rivets to hold the friction material to the back plate and a few miles on them brass rivets start and score the discs so guess what: I don't use 'em...
Oh, and the pads are branded: Audi/Brembo/Pagid... Gotta laugh...
I'm running way more than standard power and the brakes are pony on the s3 fade badly ,ideally want a bbk but having just spent over 2k on it just have to make do with pads and disks and braided linesIf you were happy with the Pagid OE pads, why not stay with them, The Blues, Ferodo DS range, Tarox pads are more suited to a track car and work better when hot.
Brakes tend to be like marmite that's half the problem what one person loves another will hate ,my tuning company reccomends ap racingSee what you mean. I would ask one of the Tuning companies what they recommend, The one who tuned your engine for instance. Im only used to lightweight cars and can't think which pad will suit you.
You hit the nail on the head there. Only way to find the best pad for your goodsellf is try a few out yourself.Brakes tend to be like marmite that's half the problem what one person loves another will hate ,my tuning company reccomends ap racing
