Head & Shoulders .
No shampoo will remove that. The wax bonds to the paintwork. The only proper way is to remove it via machine polisher or wait until the wax wears off. What shampoo would you guys n gyals use if you wanted to strip everything back, so all the polish and wax you shoved on to winter proof you wanted to get rid of in spring so was working purely on top coat when you was getting your machine ready for those glorious summer months we are due?

I'm not. The only proper way it can be removed is machine polishing. People think fairy liquid removes wax, it doesn't.A high concentration of a citrus based shampoo will probably do the trick. Theres some alkaline based ones from KKD, like Blizzard, that when used at high concentration can strip the LSP. Probably best to give the whole paint work a wipe down with a panel wipe or eraser to ensure a completely clean surface.
I think you are referring to a ceramic...any wax can be easily stripped with a high concentration of shampoo that isn't PH neutral...

Yeah, it's crazy. A lot of guides, tutorials and such would have you to lead to believe that it removes it. It can be confusing because the fairy liquid actually forms a thin layer over your wax giving the impression that there's no wax.I stand corrected. Funny how these myths become ingrained in 'common knowledge'...or in this case false knowledge...

Exactly...there so much marketing behind everything that I sometimes forget to stand back and look at the evidence...like the physics behind grit guards, the use of buckets rather than rinsing the mitt using a hose with pressure, the actual effect of detail sprays or more expensive waxes...the results are so subjective that its difficult to ascertain whether it actually does anything or not...obviously not saying its all BS, but it certainly takes a lot to work out what is effective and what is just plain rubbish!
This is spot on, now a days all you need is good marketing rather than the actual product. Most products that are developed well will be hidden in the current market if they have poor marketing skills. A few "higher end" companies out there and one similar to a country specifically is a prime example of it.
Might indeed be the one. I'm not here to point fingers but some of the schemes in the detailing industry are crazy.I think I remember reading a thread on the company you are referring to!
Something about a customer receiving a bottle from them that actually had a label from a cheaper company, indicating the product was identical, but slapped on a different label with a higher price tag...?
No, there is no "real" way other than machine polishing. So buying g3 prep shampoo not worth it if i wanted to go all the way back to "blank canvas"?

I use the G3 prep shampoo as part of a fresh Detail. Don't use it as a stand alone but seems to strip alot of old products IMOSo buying g3 prep shampoo not worth it if i wanted to go all the way back to "blank canvas"?
@scotty76 - TBH I have almost finished a bottle of Britemax CleanMax myself. Great winter shampoo for meSo shampoos I like. Britemax Cleanmax - gives a great finish. For total cheating I love Chemical Guys Glossworkz shampoo. Gives a lovely gloss which is great for the lazy man. Sorry @Bristle Hound I realise it's full of cheat gloss agents but it doesn't half make the family transport look bling.
