Ok so I currently run a 2.0tfsi B8 which I love for power and mpg.

I've test driven the new 190tdi which was a stonking engine.

Question is, do I go for the new tfsi or TDi 190 models or the 252 tfsi Quattro?
I'm thinking Quattro this time.

I'm not sure on Manual or S tronic.

Thanks!

What does the car need to do?

quattro appeals to me too.I loved my 2.0 Tfsi fwd B8 too but think quattro would have improved pulling away. I want an automatic this time given local travel conditions going to and fro work.

The SO doesn't like s-tronic so I'm probably looking at the 3.0 TDI that has it on the Allroad. Or an S4 but ground clearance will be an issue.

My preference would be a petrol tiptronic on the Allroad. Come on Audi :)

I would always recommend Quattro. Just deals with traction etc so much better and eliminates issues pulling out of junctions etc too :)

Well, I will hopefully be going for the TFSI Quattro at some point

I had a FWD 2.0T FSI B7 A4 which would light up the traction control light. I'd always had FWD cars so didn't take much notice and never really thought about Quattro. I now have a B8.5 S4 and have rarely seen the traction control light. I'd spec a Quattro again, I've been impressed. Very sure footed.

I'm still undecided what model to go for. I know with the b8 model there was no difference in the mpg figures between the TDi and tfsi. But the new model might be different.

Anybody got the b9 yet?
