Hi,

I'm looking into getting new set of alloys for my a3 Just want some opinions on which colour would suit lava grey? Also a decent brand of alloy as I'm quite new to it all!

Thanks

OE Audi VW Seat Skoda alloys are best, Lacquer & paint lasts longer, wheels balance up better, some cheap makes suspect to cracking.
Call me Mr Conservative if you like but I like shiny silver to go with dark coloured cars.

I've just had a look around the OE site, as well as several others, but all the ones I looked at (including rs4's) all seem to say A3 2006 or newer

Have a look on Ebay for genuine oe wheels, there are plenty for sale. If you are buying used wheels and/or tyres always go and pay on collection in case they are damaged or not what you expected. I recently bought a set of 4 A4 wheels http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/161896240608?_trksid=p2057872.m2748.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT with tyres for £380 from 'VAG wheels' in Slough, 150mile round trip but saved the postage and see what I was buying.
If you have any A3 8P you need 17/18/19" diameter wheels with an offset of ET56 to 45; centre bore 56 or 67 with spigot rings; bolt pattern 5/112.

The gunmetal Rotors look very nice. Other than that go OE silver. Black/dark wheels just look trashy.

Have been looking into the rotors but having no luck with any fitting my vehicle, have found an alternative. The wolfrace Genesis, just trying to find out if they can fit mine. Fingers crossed!!

I've just come across these Wolfrace Genesis alloys today and have fallen in love with them! I like how they look very similar to the OEM Black Edition Rotor alloys, I've got a black S3 so will go for the matt gunmetal colour myself.

Multiple websites state they should fit our cars but I was just wondering if you had heard back at all?

I like the oem standard silver ones... but im old.
