My alarm is silent!!! Everything else works. Lights flash etc etc I have replaced the siren 3 times and check the battery in it and all looks good. Could it be an ecu fault?
If I need to scan the alarm what do I need to buy???

Thanks

I was glad when I finally removed the chirp box, much more civilized.
Why are you so concerned mate?

I'm one of those people who like everything to work or know what is the cause . Just spent 3 hours replacing the buttons on the climate control unit cos it looked s**t.

im the same mate, try set the alarm off and see if you have power at the siren you might have a broken wire i can't imagine you have had 3 dodgy sirens

Check the switch in the drivers door pocket, I'm sure if this is turned on it silences the alarm if activated. Check in your handbook.
I used to use this when on ferries.

I would be checking there is power to the siren and the fuses are ok.

On the three pin connector at the siren, you should have a 12v, Ground and a signal wire. VCDS will also show if there is a communication issue.
