Hi guys, had my headlights clarified the other day and noticed that the company i used have scuffed the bumper next to the lights!!
Have told them about the damage and they are coming to look on Monday but now ive noticed it, it will really annoy me and obviously im a bit ****** of about it.
So here's the scuffing, any ideas on how to sort it ouy without a respray??

Hoped it would.
I dont really trust them to do anymore work on the car tho so will get it looked at by someone else

Looks to me like wet and dry sanding marks. Providing they aren't to deep they should polish out fairly easily. I would say that if they managed to get a good finish on your headlights they will be able to tidy that up quickly and easily! They should of really of masked up any vunerable paintwork before starting on the headlights though

I will wait and see what they say. Tbh the headlights look better but not great so im going tp take it to another bodyshop and ask them to redo the headlights and a quote to sort the scuffs. Then ask for my money back from the original company that did such an amateur job.
Just so no one else uses them they are called Heavenly headlights and are of Facebook.... Stay away

Trick is to go through the scuffs with your fingernails (not scratching them, use your nails actual surface). If you can feel the scratches, then damage is too deep to buff/polish. Otherwise, you're good to go. Start trying with a nice polish, and if that won't do the trick, switch to a heavy compound, then even out with polish.

You use your nails instead of your actual fingertips because they have texture and oils that will affect the actual feeling of the surface. Hope it helps!
