So it's that time of year again, Santa is just a few weeks away, every Christmas song imaginable is on your radio, everyone is very excited and by now, well in the festive mood. I'd just like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you for your fantastic and touching support this year.

2015 has been a great year for Audi-Sport NI and I'd like to share with you my highlights and most memorable moments.

Earlier this year, we firmly put ourselves on the map in the Northern Ireland car scene by attending the largest car show in the country, Dubshed. We had a fantastic turnout for the stand and we got a huge amount of recognition in return. Being able to have a stand at this particular show was a very big deal for us.

Our BBQ meet down the Ards Peninsula was hilarious, how many men does it take to cook a few burgers and sausages?? Our @RyanCudlip ate a steak that was much bigger than himself (in a bap) and we near set the picnic table on fire....although we did learn on thing if you ever find yourself with a few raw bangers and disposable barbecues, make sure you have a drop of petrol and a lighter to turn up the heat!

Who could forget the Audi Showcase, our most exclusive and exciting event of the year. The smiles on your faces could have lit up a city on the darkest day. This was an experience for all of us, to get behind the wheel of some of the greatest cars Audi have ever produced. For most of us, this was a world away from what we are used to and we witnessed the fantastic hospitality of Belfast Audi and Audi UK, at one of the most beautiful resorts in the country.

After this we had the launch of the B9 A4, an integral car in the Audi range, and certainly one of the best selling. I hope you all had a chance to look round the new car and take it for a test drive. I was very much impressed when I was out on the test drive with @danielbunting. This was also a chance to see the stunning R8 Supercar in all its glory in the showroom, quite possibly Audi's best and most beautiful car to date.

Our last meet of the year was the 'Cars & Coffee' meet at Junction One today, it was great to catch up with a couple of the members as I hadn't seen them since the Showcase. It was actually nice for once just to have a no frills meet up and just to enjoy the craic between ourselves.

With the ups, there are always downs and I'm sure it's been the same for you guys this year. It's been a testing time for myself, I lost a few friends but gained a shed load more, and for the first time in a while I really couldn't be happier. I guess it's something we all have to go through as life can deal us a bad hand from time to time. Being your club representative keeps me on my toes, I'm constantly looking for new ideas and opportunities to present to you guys and It's really nice to have a hobby that we can all share as likeminded people.

It has been my pleasure to continue leading you guys in the club and along with Sandra and Ryan to organise some of the very best events that we possibly can. There would be no Audi-Sport NI area without its enthusiastic and fantastic members, so for that I am very grateful that you make time in your busy schedules to be with us and it gives me great pride to see each of you turn out to support us.

I'd also like to say a very special thank you to @Sandra, a very important person in the club. Sandra has been working so hard behind the scenes, organising Audi Events and tours for us, she is most certainly responsible for making all of us very happy this year, I've said it time and time again, this lovely lady is and always will be, the backbone of this wonderful club.

I can tell you that we have many events, meets and shows planned for the new year, including a trip across the water to something very special. We will be having a tour around the newly renovated Portadown Audi dealership early in the year and we will also be calling in with the Belfast guys. It is very important for us here at Audi-Sport NI to retain a fantastic relationship with both dealerships. We will also be joining our friends over at NI-BMW.co.uk in some joint meets and shows. I will be talking with both Sandra and Ryan to sort out a schedule to keep things interesting over here, so I really hope you guys can join us for another busy and eventful year in the world of Audi.

All that remains to be said is, thank you very much for taking the time to read all of this, I wish you guys a very peaceful and enjoyable Christmas and New Year celebrations. Please stay safe on the roads and I look forward to seeing you all again in the new year.

Merry Christmas

Aaron

Well guys, there's 2015 almost over and what a great year it's been! I've met and made friends with so many great people from this site as well as the friends and plus ones they've brought with them throughout the year. We've had a great mix of meets and events that myself and @BrennanTDi have organised to try and appeal to all our members in some way. 2016 is going to be another great year with plenty more meets, shows and of course.....dodgy BBQs!

I'd like to thank everyone for their continued support throughout this year, and a special thanks to @BrennanTDi and @Sandra for giving me the opportunity to take on the 'regional rep' role at such a young age.

When I took on the 'regional rep' role, @BrennanTDi decided we'd like to take our group to some shows as it's one of our many shared interests within the car world. We didn't hold back with this idea and went straight ahead with a stand at GTINI Dubshed at Kings Hall in Belfast. We had a fabulous quality of cars on our stand for this show, from our usual A3s and A4s, right up to a stunning Misano Red TTRS with carbon fibre everywhere! We plan to attend Dubshed again in 2016, and will hopefully get ourselves a spot indoors!

For me, my favourite meet of the year was our costal drive and BBQ at Strangford lough. This is my home area, so it was great to show some of you guys the stunning scenery and driving roads that the Ards Peninsula has to offer. As Aaron already mentioned, I attempted (successfully) to eat a big juicy steak in a burger bap! We had a lovely South African guy join us, who turned out to be brilliant BBQ chef. After our BBQ we drove south towards Portaferry and ended up at Kirkistown race track between Kircubbin and Portavogie where a 'Trackskills' event was taking place. We parked our cars in front of the pit garages and went for a nosey. Whilst waking around the pits, we came across a Daytona Grey RS6 avant that had been on track, the driver of which had completely ****** the front brakes and was facing the scary task of taking his £90k beast home in limp mode!

On 22nd September, some of us went to the Galgorm resort for something that could be described as nothing other than ****** EPIC!! This event was of course the Audi Sport Showcase. They brought along everything from an S1 right up to the hugely powerful RS6 and RS7. I had booked to drive the new RS3 Sportback, but due to my age I had to settle for an S3 and a passenger ride with the mad, hilarious, absolute lad of a guy, Daniel Bunting in a TT. As always, Belfast and Portadown Audi made us feel right at home with hospitality second to none. Richard Eakin was there to welcome each and every one of us at the door as we arrived, along with all the familiar salesmen from both dealerships, and a few very friendly staff from Audi UK. Here's a picture of @ruairi83 just before he had to leave after driving everything he could get his hands on!

Our final meet of the year took place yesterday in the form of 'Cars & Coffee' at Junction One in Antrim. Unfortunately we didn't get the turnout we'd first expected, but even still we had some great craic as always! After our coffee, we went to a scenic spot that I'd scouted on Google maps and headed there for some photos. To the delight of @BrennanTDi there may have been a few little speed bumps on the route there ;) sorry Aaron!

Finally, I'd like to take this opportunity to wish each and every one of you, your families, and your beautiful Audis a safe and merry Christmas and a very happy New Year! I hope Santa is good to everyone.....hopefully he brings me an S3 saloon!! I look forward to seeing you all in 2016 :)

Thanks again to @BrennanTDi and @Sandra for all your help this year!

All the best,
Ryan

Guys it has been a pleasure helping you to get the region set up and have some good meets that hopefully you will remember for a long while.
Belfast and Portadown Audi have been great to organise events with. They love having you and you guys will always be welcome there. Many of you attended dubshed this year. I am pleased to say that Aaron put a lot of work into getting permission for a club stand and he made a fantastic job of it.
Audi showcase. For me that was the event of the year that I had such fun organising. I was an exclusive event so many of you were not in attendance, but there is always the next one to look forward to.
Next year I will gladly help Aaron and Ryan organise some meets.
Hope you all have a peaceful and happy Christmas. :) x

A few words.... you guys, lol

Unaccustomed to essay writing, as I am, it's hard to believe that it's been over 20 months since I signed up to Audi Sport.NET, where does the time go?
I have nothing but praise for the professional way it is run and the frendship that is offered.
A special mention to Aaron, Ryan, Sean and of course, Sandra, for their dedication to the NI group. Thank you!

In the time I've been here a lot has happened on the site and I've really enjoyed all the events I've managed to make.
As I missed the barbeque, the fry up at Cafe Quattro stands out, not only good food and company but some funds for a worthy cause as well.
The Showcase day was the first time I'd driven serious performance cars like the RS3 and S5 (some of you managed to blag several more rides and I salute you... :D ). The weather was a mixed bag and perfect for the quattro cars to shine.

Work and family caused me to miss a few events but I'm looking forward to next year.

I wish you all a Happy Christmas and I hope the New Year will be kind.
Keep up the good work!

Steve

Some very kind words from you guys. It makes me very proud to be part of the team, we have so many loyal and legendary members that are a pleasure to be in the company of.

It doesn't matter how old or young you are, you are welcome here with us, the way I see it is, we are one big Audi family that is getting bigger and going from strength to strength.

I've said it time and time again, but I can't say it enough, thank you so much guys for your dedication and support :)
