Hey people. Just ordered an S3 Saloon with the following options.
Colour is Sepang Blue
Adaptive Cruise
Parking Plus + Park Assist
B&O Sound System
Comfort Pack
Folding Mirrors
Extended Mono Pur
Super Sports Seats
High Beam Assist
Hill Hold Assist
Interior Light Pack
LED Headlights
Pan Roof
Privacy Glass
Backup Camera
Tech Pack with High Connect
Red Calippers
Through Load System

Estimated delivery date March/April 2016
Looking forward to the car. Any help with what to expect with the car or any of the options would be helpful. Going to be a big upgrade from my MK7 2.0TDi Golf.

Wow, that's some spec list............................did you forget the kitchen sink??

What to expect from the car and options?? ................................. a whole lot of fun me thinks :racer:

Thanks for the welcome. Haha don't think the kitchen sink option was available for the saloon version.

Looking to keep the car for a very long time and I'm a big fan of options/toys so thought hey why not.

Great Spec... almost identical to mine which is due on the 8th Jan 2016...
At least you won't be tempted to add more options... i'm actually trying to think if you have missed one...:readit:

Read up on this forum, there is a vast amount of knowledge here to keep you occupied!

Only main options which are missing are lane assist/blind spot monitoring. Don't do a lot of dual carriageway/motorway miles and visibility in the car is quite good tbh I think. As for advanced key well for £425 it's a bit cheeky for Audi to be asking that much when VW offer it for £300 on the golf platform. Have the option on my current golf but didn't feel like speccing it on the S3.

Sepang blue is indeed the best colour on a saloon. Just wondering if I should select the black styling pack with the carbon mirrors or leave it as silver.

I much prefer BSP with Sepang (which would be why I have it) - but its up to you at the end of the day :)

Having looked at your options,personally l can see a some really unnecessary ones in particular....Park Assist... when you already have front/rear parking sensors plus a rear view camera,its not a stretched limo your buying,,lol l would ditch that and Hill Hold Assist.not necessary,Adaptive Cruise control Ditched....crap Gadget...Even Connect. l see a saving of at least £1000 there mate... go invest in some other options..like upgraded alloys,BSP,Carbon Door Mirrors covers...Advice>>?? make you S3 MORE...different on the exterior options side,S3 Saloons are quite popular especially in and Especially in Sepang...Especially in Sepang,yeah l did type it twice

So yer talkin about cars noo...lol that's a US MODEL....With the big grill...makes any Audi look better...yer a Chrome Dome and l am Black Man....lol...Does look awesome though...but its not got Self Park my frickin car for me....or the horrendous 3rd nipple ACC...LOL That takes the whole look away from any type of grill..so put that in yer pipe n Smoke it,feel a bit of Austin Powers comin on....Groovee Baybeee lol

lts not got a front Regy plate Plaque....to spoil the grill...ye would have noticed that with a JD in ya...lol

Haha!! Gotcha......................been staring at that ****** picture thinking, well I dunno looks exactly like mine!! lol

Haven't started on the sherberts yet, taxi duty at 7 for my daughter................have a good ol night spin while I'm at it...............then onto the vino!!

Sepang saloon with silver bits is the best looking 8V out there. (Including RS3).
IMO.
Completely biased opinion.

Options; I've got none of the ones you are getting (I've got none) so won't comment.

Cheers for the advice. Only wanted the park assist for the extra sensors not bothered about the self parking. And as for the hill hold and adaptive cruise control they are a must for me, as my current Golf has them as standard and driving without them just doesn't feel right for me. To me saving £1000 of options doesn't bother me considering the car costs at £35k for a base spec. I could always black the grill and other bits and add carbon mirrors down the line if I want too. I prefer the standard 19inch rims not a fan of the 19 inch rotar arm design.

The standard 19's are fantastic alloys mate, with you all the way there, and agree on the chrome too you can always change them later if you want to.

Just out of interest did you manage to get a decent discount?

Discount Loool of course I did. Got a quote of Carwow from Audi Coventry (11% discount). Took the info over to my local Dealer and they matched it enough for me (~10%). Not going to fuss over 1%. Saves me from making a round trip of 200miles for collecting the car. And having a Local Indentifier on the number plate is a nice touch.

.....exactly what I did mate, 10% at local dealer saved me 300mile round trip to Coventry!!
