Hi people my car has recently started what feels like the front end of the car is wobbling quiet a lot Durring acceleration upto around 2200 rpm and more going up hill and clutch is very high car is remapped could this point to dmf and would replacing with a singe mass conversion sort the problem

DMF tends to make a rattling sound on tickover and vibrations through the clutch pedal..... if your going to get it done i would stay away from a solid flywheel conversion on a diesel... fine for petrol but i've heard lots of bad things when fitted to a diesel

Usually when a DMF fails it sounds like a bag of spanners with lost of rattling and heavy deep thumping some times. It doesn't make the car wobble . If it's just a stage 1 map 170bhp ish then a standard clutch /DMF is the way to go, If it's hybrid turbo and 200bhp plus then a Sachs organic clutch would be better again with a DMF. Some people goto SMF flywheels and paddle clutches if they have big mods but not for a daily driver .

Check your engine mounts, and gearbox mount, although I would expect them to effect it at all revs. Saying that I would expect a bad flywheel/clutch to effect it at all revs too?

Whats it like on tick over?
As most people have said sounds like f***d flywheel. When you first start the car put it in first and slowly bring the clutch up to the bite point, listen for noises, you will know if its gone, it will clatter its head of.
And is the vibration through the whole car or steering wheel??
