Had the chance to go and have a look at Matt's S3 today and thanks to him for sparing his time and knowledge to spread some light on the S3 8L.

And I have to say guys I found that the S3 looks the part.

You just may have me hooked:yes:

I just need to go and drive a few and see if they drive as good as they look,here's hoping.

Have to say that for the little time I have been on this forum,it is a very friendly place and the people are open and understanding,even though I'm not an owner(yet?).

I found my a3 quattro wasn't great in the handling department when i first drove it, but didn't cost much at all to tighten everything up a bit, some replaced bushes and a few poly bushes here and there + a thicker rear anti roll bar and it felt a lot more planted! worth test driving a few because the first one you test drive could be a bit tired given the age of the cars.

Ha yeah! realised how little impact one hungover bloke can have on a garden!
Made a few phone calls and I now have some professionals (with a digger) coming round to level and re-turf it
