turbo- manifold bolt size

Hi guys.. Would my bolts be e16 from factory ??as I've picked a turbo gasket up along with new bolts and a socket to fit e14 as this fits the bolts I picked up. ****** thing don't fit the bolts that's in there tho as it would not sit over the splines.

The new bolts I got had a bigger head on also I got them from vw so should be the right bolts. Cost £35 all in with gasket

11mm double hex would grab them, but your old short stubby head bolt will be a complete 'mare as there's so little head to grip onto.

I got 2 out with a normal 11mm socket but the rear bolt just wouldn't budge it kept slipping. I will grab a double hex tomorrow and give it another shot

heat and penetrating fluid may help you out.
blow torch gets used here frequently on these blummin bolts..

i had to chisel one of my ko4 bolts out, there was just no grip what so ever with the socket and it just ate it to pieces.
Its a good bolt head design, its just too shallow

Give it another go and it just stripped the bolt head. There a tight old bolt am not sure weather it would be poss to weld a nut onto as it closest to the engine

Dont fancy taking a hammer to it either as I don't want to crack anything
