Picked up our new S3 yesterday.. What is everyone's favourite drive select? Or most go to option?
Only driven it a couple of times as the other half is using it but unsure what style is best suited for what yet!

Opinions please!

Pics first..................opinions later!! ;) (only kidding)

I assume you mean which drive select? For me, 80% comfort and 20% individual (with steering and dampers in comfort, the others dynamic).

If you really mean driving style, for gods sake don't ask V8 :)

Just edited to select:laughing:
I'll post a pic too

The other half prefers dynamic but for me I prefer the gears changing quicker..!

when commuting to and from work, comfort. once the car warms up it seems to be more comfortable. driving around otherwise its in automatic.

I live in Dynamic myself - Comfort only when the family or parents are in the car. Often switching S and D, rarely use the paddles. I don't trust Comfort at speed (mag suspension).

after a few months with mine now i have eventually settled with individual settings Engine-dynamic Steering-comfort Dampers-comfort Gearbox-auto and tend to use the paddle shifters more over S mode. Enjoy the car!

I have mine in Individual with everything in Dynamic and steering in comfort - that is pretty much all of the time.

If I find myself cruising on the motorway, just moving with the traffic, I have from time to time put it in Efficiency. But to be honest I'm not sure that it has a massive effect on the mpg...

Brilliant car there Tash and I love the black, not sure I'd go for it myself as I think I'd be forever cleaning it.

If I'm on a long trip then I'll put it in Efficiency (I also turn start/stop off as it does my nut in!), otherwise it's in Comfort normally.
Dynamic mode puts in an appearance every so often, especially where overtaking's concerned... POWER!!!!

A nice black one!!!!!! Looks awesome :)

For me 95% Individual (Dynamic steering+sound, Auto engine/gearbox, Comfort suspension).

5% Dynamic in S-mode, for when I want the best noise.

Does anyone know why S-mode sounds more aggressive in Dynamic, compared to Individual with Dynamic sound?

Cant be added induction/engine noise?

Car is manual box and does not have Mag ride and 100% of the time in individual mode as follows

Engine: Dynamic
Steering Comfort
Sound Comfort

But do have two different driving style..one for me and one for when the wife is in the car :grinning:

It's already dirty :whistle2:

Any suggestions of what to use as shampoo etc?
Don't really fancy taking it to the polish!
