Mono.pur

My tuppence;

Mag-ride: never had it, don't miss it.
Mono-pur: Meh, would be nice but for £300? No ta.
B&O: Love my B&O but I've not compared it to ***. I've heard the Audi system is excellent.

I don't get any pogo'ing on speedbumps, but the floaty feeling you get on B-roads is disconcerting to say the least. B14's are on my shopping list next year.

I think magride ain't specced because you can't see what your getting for one's dosh not like the bang&olufsen or technology package etc,bit like home improvements people like new bathrooms suites new double glazing,etc,but tell them there house needs rewired!!! na just leave that because they don't see or feel much benefits from it,same can be said in a way with magride it's invisible can't show it off,but sooner or later they start to moan about the way the car handles,

Nah Jassy that's superficial.. bit like saying that food looks great but tastes rubbish.. why would you buy nice looking bad tasting food??

I do and there is no right answer... For me the 8P rode better on Mag ride, the 8V RS3 rides equally well if not better on standard set up. My view

Hi, well after all this the dealer tells me the car is locked down... so can't add anything anyway. I was going to add Magride and the B&O speakers, but cant.

Still 1500 quid to spend on fuel.

99 percent of my driving is on A roads, dual carriageways and motorways whilst listening to the radio....

As for mono.pur (stupid name) the demo car didn't have it, and I like the interior...

Love this thread, I have ordered mono.pur and I'm hoping it will lift the interior a little on the grab handles especially. It works out at 0.9% of the cars value so I thought why not. Car arrives in 3 weeks so I guess I'll know then. Pics to follow.

I also don't get the issue with it being synthetic :wtf:

If it was leather then it would stain too easily from oil and sun tan cream from my legs and hands - proper tropical consideration that :cold:

Can l let you into a little inside info mate...eh...? you can cancel it....ok, the ordered car will still come to the dealership, they will sell it to someone else,but l would bet my years wages, they will have something very similar...to your car coming into the country or have a similar car in stock with surround sound and magride.lol...lt will entail the salesman to do a little extra searching on the computer and some extra paperwork...and you may have to do a little compromising on spec....but when its locked doesnt mean you have to take the car...Me knows coz? l did it...because i wanted a Panroof after it was locked....just thought you should be aware of this

Because, possibly, people object to paying £300 for a small area of plastic.

Different if it were leather, it would feel value for money :)

I may also add this little bit of useless information to the Mo-Pu table....l constantly troll all Audi approved used S3's looking for exclusive paints to post on this forum..for hours l do Anorak l know....lol and very rarely do l see Mo-Pu on any S3's....but l will add its on most RS3 demos at the moment

I will live without fake leather pussies, magride and indeed 700 watts of Talksport... my initial feelings were I didn't need them, order locked down... I will take that as a sign!

In all honesty I doubt my driving will ever push the car enough to show up the suspension.

I would rather listen to engine noise than 700 watts of anything (cool lights in the speakers would have been nice though).

As for leather trim (or indeed fake leather). It clearly wasn't meant to be

Poor Rob...l will at least backtrack a little..the RS3 l dove with it on...was a typical demo un kept unwanted,even the full leather SSS seat looked really shiny...PVC like,shame really...so the same could be said with door handles
I mean l paid £250 for roof rails.....new thread To rail or de rail...lol

I prefer to have paid for the fancy stitching, regardless of whether the thread is cotton or synthetic :sign wow:

Excellent news! ...oh wait, hang on, I've already got a car... dammit!

My plan for a retrofit isn't going to plan either as both my cats have run off... :whip: The Mono Pur will have to wait!

I went through difficulty changing my order for mono.pur (plus few other things but mono.pur is all that matters right!? RIGHT!?!?), was worth it in a I won't be denied sort of way!

The super sport seats are much less comfortable than standard seats, had I test driven an S3 with standard seats I would not have gone for SSS's! I spent a few days in a courtesy S3 with standard seats, felt really nice.

B&O is really nice and a great addition but as long as you don't have the standard system you will be fine!

I hope my words help, if not, here is a recording of a tree trying to assault a guy ...
