Hi,

I have purchased lovely alloys 8T0 601 025CD for my A7.
But spoke to Audi UK and they said that they are designed for A5
Should I be worried about it ?

ET33
8T0601025CD
19"
9.0Jx19H2

I would like to buy tyres for them but after conversation with Audi UK don't know what to do ???
Will 235/45/19 fit ? or 255/45/19 ?

the size you need is listed within your fuel filler flap or drivers door jam.

The standard 19 inch wheel on the A7 Is 8.5J with an ET of 32

The 20 inch wheels for the A7 are 9J with an ET of 37.

By the looks of it these wheels you have bought will fit but you can't put a 235 tyre on a 9 inch rim .
Well you can but it would be a stretch, a 255 tyre is more the correct fitment for a 9J rim.
The wheels you have bought would poke out another 4mm compared to a 20 inch wheel fitted on an A7. I think the correct tyre width for 19's is 255/40/19.

I like the Goodyear Eagle F1's good all round tyre.

Hopefully somebody else will chime in and confirm all the info above. And maybe even a piccie of a fitted wheel. is the car lowered ?

Karl.

Karl, thank you so much!!!
I thought 45 would make my ride more comfy ...
I was also thinking about Michelin Pilot Alpin4 but do I really need winter tyres ??

Have you looked at your crystal ball to see what the weather will be doing ?.

If you wanted a softer ride better stopping with 18 inch wheels with higher profile tyres. I would say try and avoid XL rated tyres as these have stiffer sidewalls which give them a slightly harder ride. Any kind of tyre that is really performance oriented usually has stiff sidewalls as well to give that instant turn in and steering precision. However nearly all the tyres in this size are XL rated.
Despite that I have Goodyear Eagles on my car and am very happy with them from a comfort point of view.
There is loads of tyre tests and reviews here
