I'm looking to get some roof bars for my 57 plate sportback sline which has fitted roofs rails

What I'm finding is that some companies list for sportback and some say 5dr .... Is there actually any difference?

Reason is ones listed for sportback always come out more expensive than others that say 5dr

Sportsback is 5 door.
You need to look for the ones for fitted roof rails

Yeah Im looking at ones with roof rails but some say for sportback whilst others say 5dr so was wondering was there actually any difference or was just a case of different name for same thing

Where are you looking? If it is different manufacturers of roof bars then a sportback is the same as a five door. Audi use the terminology 3 door and Sportback for the A3 not 3 door and 5 door like some manufacturers. Bit like using the term Avant rather than estate.
We just got the genuine Audi roof bars which are a doddle to fit on the roof rails.

Thanks pluves1 that's what I thought and was the answer I was looking for.

I'm just after some bars so i can fit cycle rack so I can transport my mtb bikes as I don't really want to go down towbar option and can't use rear mounted due to spoiler.
