Hi has anyone got pics of boot de badged I'm not sure weather or not to take the A4 and TDI badges off or not would like to see what it looks like with them off cheers guys.

Take a picture of your own and 2 seconds on a photo editing package you could remove them.
I took some of the badges off my car , lost the 3.0 and quattro badge so it just has A4 TDI .

I am shocking on a computer and have no edit software haha

I removed mine and I think it looks much better! If you want to upload a picture I dont mind editing it to show what it would look like without the badges!

Lots of guys debadge their cars Baldwin. Lots swap out rings for black ones etc. Its easy to do. Takes away the clutter.

much better de-badged and doesn't hold water to drip and stain after a wash - black circles look good with some colours??

Hey Baldwin, there are a zillion variations on this one. Everyone has their own personal thing on it. In the end they all look good.

TDI I would rip off straight away!!
TFSI I would definitely keep...
Especially now these fixed cars are very quick...

Whats the best method to get rid of the badges?

I'm actually considering debadging altogether on the rear

@keenu I have always removed the badges with a hairdryer and some fishing wire or dental floss, its really easy to do but you do need to have some patience!lol

Then once the badges have been removed use some tar remover for the glue residue! :grinning:

+1 Fishing "line/gut" & hair dryer, don't use wire.
Heat badges, wiggle line around the back of the badge, as if you were flossing your teeth, ease the line side to side, heat again if needed, then clean glue with tar remover.

Job done. :rockwoot:

No problem @Baldwin happy to help! :) .. I do agree the black rings look the part. I recently swapped mine for nice gloss black and the S-Line badges will be next!:)

Geoff. Have you got black RS badges? or are you doing the rings alone in black.
