Anyone that knows anything about cars wouldn't consider bilsteins as a mod, it's a quality upgrade.
You can set the ride height to stock and nobody would even know anyway.

Keep changing my mind every 5 mins but one things for sure, its leaving southampton port on the 12th!

Lucky, I wish I could move to a hot sunny country and make a living while still owning the s3.
I'm stuck in the big smoke :-(

Got the H&R coilovers installed and aligned today at NAD UK (Littlehampton, W. Sussex) . Top bloke, suspension set ups are his speciality.

The "bounce" has gone and the car generally feels more compliant.

I have attached the geo pre coilover fitment when the car was on H&R lowering springs and after.

The setup is a hybrid between the S3 and Golf R, and so far I like it.

I run the golf r settings at their most extreme.
Made a massive difference to turn in and the high speed handling on the ring was so much better with less understeer enabling me to put more power down mid corner.... Also more tail happy :)

B14's on with golf R geo setup and its made a massive improvement in handling, turn in as said is greatly improved. Went with a one finger gap at the front and two at the rear, I prefer my cars nose down slightly, just looks more aggressive.

PM me! You could save me a expensive trip to Awesome next month

Maybe a silly question but if you brought a set of say B14's or B16's would you be able to swap them onto a RS3? that will be my next car after my PCP end's

Theoretically yes, as its the same chassis, but there could be some variations since that is the more performance minded vehicle. Keep in mind, if they do work, the wagon is a little heavier so the spring rates could be different.

Would you recommend them? Have they reduced the crashiness of the stock suspension?

So, I got some b14s, getting them fitted tomorrow :) have people cut the bump stops in half? I read the Americans have been doing that? What height have people recommended?

Left mine stock for my b16's. I'm at the highest setting currently and haven't ever felt they got close to bottoming out. But is duo whatever the directions suggest.

So, is there a chance the coilovers can be fitted incorrectly? Because they seem pretty bouncy and harsh to me.

Think the only way it could be installed incorrectly is the top mounts which wouldn't affect the bouncyness. The bump stops won't do that either.

Mine aren't bouncy, pretty planted but gets bouncy on rough pavement.
