idiot drivers that want to race just because they see an s3

Don't get me started on Merc drivers…

Look at us lot badge bashing. Lol.

Somewhere on a Corsa C forum is a young lad bashing an Audi driver for zooming off when they were half way to winning.

I find the biggest Culprits for this kind of thing, are usually guys in Standard Ford Focus's, Vauxhall Corsa's & any form of People Carrier!!
You'd think that People Carrier Drivers would be extra sensible, considering there driving a bus around with kids in, but there absolute Nutters!!

We can all drive fast, but when your willing to overtake over a solid white line down an unlit country road and try and pass 3 cars all dong 60 mph and risk killing me and my family because you jump on the brakes and swerve back in as something is coming in the other direction.
You need a slap.

If it had been a long straight clear road you would have never got that close to my bumper.

I think that all those drivers of low powered cars just want to see a fast car, go fast, and nothing to do with them thinking that they stand a chance :) The few that think otherwise are just fools.

I've started a great thread for a good old moan and our experiences makes me feel that I'm not alone :p

Only had to resort to that once several years ago, in fact, it was the night that Aberdeen won the Cup Winners Cup in Gothenburg.
Got cut up by a 3.0L Capri and what pi$$ed me off, was that my wife was heavily pregnant.
He made the fatal mistake of getting out of the car to me and ended up with a head butt to end them all.
He didn't have much to say after that

I have only lost it once, and that was when someone pushed my wife out of the way when she was heavily pregnant as we tried to get on a train. I lost it big time and it was only later that I realised how close I got to getting locked up that night.

Within a week of the getting my 2.0lt TDi, I had a Corsa pull up next to me, full of teenagers revving the engine. I was tempted to race him to teach him a lesson, but with being in the middle of town, I knew there would be a cop somewhere!
Anyway, lights turn green and yep you guessed it, he stalled! I just drive off laughing

Seriously.....

You are not alone.

Mercs,BMWs,Fords, etc etc ....even other "bigger/better" Audis....

It is irritating and sometimes silly.

Debadge front and back sorts your issues..i've got a few "hey nice s-line you got" :friendly wink:.

I was watching it live, quality nutting of the bird that was...

Joking aside,Iannone was very lucky there, not to either come off the bike with the rest of the leading pack right on him,or suffer serious neck/facial trauma.

Lucky lad....

I have a 2.0L TDi and last night I had a Corsa on my bumper, and when I say on my bumper he was so close all I could see was his face in the mirror
If you haven't already you should invest in fan-type washer jets for your windscreen. Much better coverage than the standard ones and if somebody's up your bumper spray will end up on their windscreen too. Might cool them down a bit. :tonguewink:

I have the normal ones and they squirt right over the car! Lol.

Thanks just received it,laughin at your reg plate tho.beats the object of removing the badge lmao..looks miles better :)
Lol I no its a bit of a give away ! but it just looks so much better without the badges !

Morning encounter with a yellow Clio sport 200 grrrr....he torments me everyday and I let him go ..I have a patience of a saint but it's slowly slipping away ...Any1 had a race with 1?

Or take the cap of your rear washer and it fires a jet of water straight at the car behind

Yes, remove cap and the little plastic jet and you've got yourself a water gun! Still is a shame that the 8p rear wiper motors break easily.

I de-badged mine for this reason and I don't have a s3! Its usually just kids in 1.2 corsa's bless em, I'm sure were all mature enough to ignore them and not give in to the temptation to.............SMOKE EM....LOL

or go Stage 3 BT and dont care about anyone anymore but your driving licence:).

I did think of saying something like this before, but in any case,I find people who drive up the bumper tend to suddenly go backwards....

and in most cases they are van drivers :).

The ones that I've had most problems with have been owners of much "better" sports saloons such as AMG C63s and some BMWs,although even our very own breed isn't immune to trying to overtake by driving through the car in front.

The most idiotic of all recently was the C63 pilot who kept taking lunges at the back of my car despite us being stuck in heavy traffic on both sides of the road.
I mean....what for...

I gotta say opposite for me i'm always up for a blast with anything :) , my last race was laugh out loud good fun against a Mclaren P9 or something similar, (spoiler popped up when braking) lots of roundabouts along dual carriageway he must of had TC part off as there was lots of loss of traction, i was hanging in there all the way to the town center, only keeping up due to ragging it through the roundabouts (all within the speed limits and with due care and attention) Shame i didn't have Stage 2+ would of been much closer.

Only time i seem to get people wanting to race me is in the wifes MPV.
