Is it me or does this happen to a few of u?sometimes I want to be left alone and drive sensibly and I also get ***** wanting to get infront or want a race...many people remove the s3 from the rear ?

I get bored and laugh but sometimes it annoys me that I want some peace...had a 1 series tonight so let him go as he was driving stupid

Remove the S3 and put TDI , peeps will stay clear of your exhaust .

It's been gone a long time but, it does look low and mean from the rear, so I would probably hassle me if I was in the Alfa behind.

Anyone who knows cars will spot a debadged S3. Usually wing mirrors are a giveaway but, yours may be silver so not as obvious.
Easiest thing to do is just ignore them and drive at your own pace.
I sometimes can't resist surprising some boy racers who think I'm driving a boring BMW.

I don't have #S3problems but it seems like the only time I get people messing with me is when I'm in my 1.6 Polo GTI

My RS3 is coming debadged for this very reason, I'm sure most people will see it as "just" an A3

i just throw my milkshake at their cars i usually have one lying around. and then i get out at 6ft 4 20stone with a right hook to die for its quite fun! im all for peace and quiet i cant stand helmets trying to race with me
I have some S3 bits on my car so get mistaken for one even though its a TDI 170...but it's fun if they try it uphill where I do a much better job of keeping up that should be expected of me.
Don't get me started on cyclists. My money that could be used to fix potholes is instead spent making cycle lanes for the rodents of the road. They film us and hand the footage to the police like they're some sort of bad man and we can't do sh1t because they don't have any reg plates!
When I become prime minister the motorways are going to be 6 lanes in each direction. The first three for cars up to 2.9L in capacity and the other 3 for anything over 3.0L. The 3.0L lanes will be derestricted and the slow lanes will be limited to 90mph.
Cyclists won't be allowed on the road without registration plates and road tax.

Those rodents of the road are actually helping with volume of traffic, also your money doesn't go to pay for the potholes, road tax doesn't exist.

That's why my badges are missing; I am the old guy with a something that looks like a badgeless A3..
You'd be amazed how many ask "what sort of Audi is that?" and even when I tell 'em they're non the wiser...
Not really relevant to the UK, but here in Bosnia and Herzegovina the worst kind of drivers who always want to race you drive BMW E46, Opel (Vauxhall) Astra G or Passat 5+. Not to mention that 99% of the time they are diesel cars with <130hp.
A few days ago a Golf MK2 1.6 diesel tried to race me as well, and yesterday a Golf MK5 1.9TDI. Was pretty pathetic.
Funny how people with low hp/torque cars are the ones doing it here whereas the ones with more powerful cars are usually minding their own business.

I have a 2.0L TDi and last night I had a Corsa on my bumper, and when I say on my bumper he was so close all I could see was his face in the mirror. I was traveling at 60 mph down a country lane with 3 cars in front of me when he decides to over take us all crossing a solid white line on a bend forcing me to break hard when he met something coming the other way.
2 miles later he turned right at the traffic lights. What an idiot

I find that 3rd gear usually sorts them out. Even better if they're halfway past when you floor it.
