[Oct 18, 2015] Birmingham Audi (Solihull) Dealership Meet (Part of the Lister... (Birmingham)

Dead excited for this, asked for the e-tron. I think i'll just bring the whole shabang, NI number/card, counterpart and driving license is always kept with me. Can't wait!

Not being familiar with Birmingham Audi, can anyone suggest a good route to take on my test drive?
Good driving roads @jojo
 
There are some decent roads around but maybe better to discuss them when everyone is at the venue.

Received the email last night and replied.
Not sure I can make it now as i have double booked myself ! If I get to drive the RS6 as requested I may just have to re-arrange some things though !
 
Well no test drive for me then, just had the call & there's no slots left. Dummy out the pram time :cry::cry::cry:
 
I have just had the call too, no RS's available as they are all booked. He is looking to see what else is available and is getting back to me, but unless its a R8 they have hidden somewhere I won't be turning up.
 
At least I can turn up when I want now, not looking forward to it as much as I was, but will still be going.

I'll be eating all the sandwiches of the people who get a test drive in the RS's whilst they're out enjoying themselves :tongueclosed:

Just hope there aren't too many that will drop out now
 
Admin, can we get an "do not like" button for the inevitable smug "Ive got a RS test drive" comments:tonguewink:

Just had a call back and they have sorted me out with an RS6 :rockwoot:

Another advantage it seems, to having your car dealer serviced, by the people holding the test drive day.

Does anybody know how many people will actually get a ride and how long they expect to take for each driver?

Well that's pee'd me off now seems as I too have mine serviced there and spend blinking thousands at the spares dept!

So much for yes Steve don't worry you're on 1st reserve on the RS cars! Appears 1st reserve is not what it says on the tin then.

No telephone call here :shrug: so might just be the sandwich for me too but at least I'll be driving an RS3 twice during the day both going to and coming from the meet... :racer:

Ok, just being honest here :whistle2: I forgot to give 'em my telephone number....:help: but having now done that the nice Mr. Mark Rennie :hi: tells me he'd already booked me and mine (take note Sandra as RS3copilot is now going too) into an RS3 @ 2.45pm, so we'll have need to rush the sandwiches....

Goes without saying that once we've finished off the sandwiches you'll be welcome with me and mine, RS3 @ 2.45, and me with 4-years experience of exercising these machines... :racer: That said, fingers crossed you get sorted.

Can somebody post a full address to this place? I don't want to wait forever in front of some other audi dealer in Birmingham.
