Hi all.

Has anyone here used gloss black vinyl to wrap their door/dash/surrounds?

I know a lot of you have used carbon fibre effect and pictures of that and any other colours are also welcome.

Would love to see some pictures of gloss black ones (i.e. similar to soul/piano black but done with wrap).

Hi Dale, I did it on mine ages ago (unfortunately no picture as on old broken phone).I wrapped them then had painted gloss black. i then done carbon wrap over the top and now full red alcantara. The problem i found with the gloss black is it scratches easy and shows every mark up.

They did look nice though when clean and shiny.

Hello Dale,

Well my interior is all piano black with a very slight tint of the darkest grey. This is however OEM painted.
Love it as it maches the half leather black interior with Alcantara.

Let me know if you need any pics for point of referrence..

That carbon looks good, how hard was it to remove the trims to do it or did you do them in place?

No all the trims were removed and sent off to " wicked coatings" who I have to say did a fantastic job on them.

Sorry to hijack the post,, the carbon fibre does look lovely, however what did that steering wheel come out of mattyboyc?

ok thanks, i'm trying to decide what to do with mine. Originally I wanted to do the inside trims gloss black but my wife says it will be too dark inside with everything else black

I thought the same but to be honest I haven't really noticed muck difference and I had aluminium trims before.

The steering wheel is an original sport one reshaped and recovered by royal steering wheels.

Cheers for the pics folks, looking good.

Anyone with pics of plain gloss black?

This is my interior. All OEM.
Hope this helps.
