Hi all

A friend of mine (female) is looking to get an S3 cab. I haven't seen one single person on here yet with an S3 cab... Is there a reason why? (other than cabs being for women)!

Cheers

I have only seen one S3 Cabriolet on the road In black very classy looking but they are extremely expensive for what they are? so that maybe the reason why they are rare? Think a decent spec cabriolet would be close to £45k

I've got one in Sepang with lunar silver leather. It's beautiful looking and in my opinion not just for women. It's a heavy car with a good 200kg over the hatchback but what you gain is a more exclusive looking car with a great sounding exhaust.

Performance is good, handling, no complaints, especially as they come with mag ride and lots of other kit as standard.

Pricey if looking at RRP but well supported by Audi with sensational discounts yet very strong residuals if using PCP (I do) which means good monthly payments.

TBH I only had it as a stop gap whilst waiting for my RS3 but I'm really getting attached to it, even more so when the sun eventually shines as this is when the upshifts can be enjoyed the most.

Very good looking cab and must be the best in its class, oh and the Kids thinks it's amazing and insist on the roof down when dropping off or collecting from school.

Gets my vote and I really did not expect to like this car as much as I do :)

Harrogate Audi has this one in. I know the business manager had it as his car. Just doesn't look anything special imho.

Thanks guys, I'll let her know it's just because they're pricey etc.

I do have a theory though... Every girl that drives a Fiat 500 is hot!!
