Nice work. Which three buttons do you use to reset MMI?

Press Menu + centre control knob + upper right inner button all at once for a few secs and release.

@Sluggy007 how does this work without the additional remote fob?

You can set a timer to run it and how long for via the menu. Either to continue running when you turn off engine or for when you want it to run before you get to the car.
A watch out is you'll get an auxiliary heating error if scanned by VCDS etc, but nothing to be concerned about as it's just because you don't have the heater built into the car

As @Darren92 said to reset :)
@Razza-1 very true with error showing.... i have that on my car right now.

Ill see what i can get working other the weekend :)

What's the difference between Aux heating and supplimentry heating as I have that an an 'off' or 'auto' option on the MMI

It didn't go to well, the menu features appeared but were inactive, the Carista app does not have section for AC so couldn't activate it.

14. Connet to the car using the Carista app
15. Select "CUSTOMIZE" and wait for it to connect
16. Scroll down to "HEATING/AC" and select
17. Select all 4 options to "ENABLE/YES" and wait for the app to confirm
18. Close App and restart car/MMI

In relation to this. I have seen somewhere a key with what looks like extra buttons to turn the aux heading on, does anyone know if this is correct?

Correct but thats only for the full heater which imo, in the UK isn't needed.

The Aux heating is a way to get the car to a temperature on a timer and the supplementary heater helps the cars cabin get warm quicker in diesel cars.

It probably would but we don't get cold enough temperatures for long enough during the year to warrant retrofitting the whole system.

the heater doesn't seem to work on mine. The setup in the menu is ok but when it gets to the time it is due to come on nothing happens.

Do you have the additional heater then, just because you can enable the menu doesn't mean you have the heater? Unless you live somewhere very cold I doubt your car would be specced with it...

Oh that's a shame. How much work would it be to fit? Parts needed?

You don't need it in the UK and probably £500-1000 in parts due to heaters and pipe work etc.

Can you please provide the reverse instruction for the green menu. Mine only has supplemented heater so want to remove the option in the mmi?
