Playing music though Bluetooth while charging though MMI

Can it be done? Every time I plug my phone into mmi it automatically take it off Bluetooth,
The reason I would do this is because Spotify does not work well at all with MMI.
Every time I skip a track it loads up Apple Music instead!!

Yeah I've had the same issue. Think MMI prefers iTunes to Spotify mate.
 
Switch to android. But seriously, it's an apple issue and not spotify.
 
I'd stop messing about with the MMI cable or Bluetooth and just dump all your songs on an SDCard. Much more convenient.
 
I had this issue...
Delete ALL music from iTunes....even the U2 album...and once you can open the app and it says "No Content"...now your Spotify will charge on the MMi cable in the armrest and it will skip play through Bluetooth and skip tracks without messing up.

This definitely works and I'm loving it now as I can play my music and charge at the same time.
