Particulate Filter

Hey guys, i have an audi a3 2.0tdi sportback 2009 on 84k. On 2 occasions when ive put key inside an turnd once before starting up, al the car signs show up an turn off, bt on my computer screen the particualte filter sign has come on and gone within a few seconds. Any idea what this is an what it means.
 
Started or not started up. It goes off after a few seconds
 
System is happy then. If you haven't noticed drop in MPG, all is well (probably).
Plausibility check may be a bit slow if the MIL behaviour is different than before. To be sure everything is okay, would be worthwhile having a tech look at the relevant measuring blocks with a scan tool.

My MPG isnt excellent bt i would say i should be gettn more. Whats MIL. IF I TAKE IT TO MAIN DEALERS an do a diagnostic wud that help. Thnx for ur help

NO IT WOULDN'T lol...why pay dealers when someone on the forum with VCDS can do the same thing for you for a few quid for some drinks.

its my 1st day on this, im stil gettn use to it, didnt know i can get some1 from here lol. Thnx neways bro
 
mrs DPF light came on last night and stays on. Good job its under warranty with who she bought it off only month ish ago.

Most warrantys won't cover your dpf, they will put it down to the way you drive unfortunately

No idea what MIL is EML is engine management light, that lights if any codes are stored.
