HTC one Bluetooth issues on a3 2007

Hi, myself and my wife have upgraded our phones to HTC one m8s, both of us. However since doing so have lost the connectivity to the oem Bluetooth in our Audi a3, it's a 2007 model and has worked with every other phone we have had I've the past few years.

Any one help please?

It may be the software of the car is too old to work the new HTC phones. Does it try to connect/pair?

No, nothing, it used to work on all my old phones but not this one. Rubbish.
