Poll inside - Can't make my mind up which alloys I should get, please vote

Which alloys do you prefer?

Been looking at 19" alloys for my Silver A4 B7 S-Line Avant and have it narrowed down to 2 styles, I really cant make up my mind between them. Need your help people :grinning:

Both sets will be 19 x 8.5 ET35 ish front and rear with 235 x 35 x 19 tyres

Choice A = Rotor Reps (likely to be hyper silver or very light gloss graphite but maybe that's another poll !!!)

Both proven thumbs up on Audi's.

Choose the one without the PITA diamond cut .
 
I like both really, but I think the ZZR's look really smart
 
Rotor reps for me but I'm being a little biased as I'm ordering some very soon!

And the ZZR's look like something that used to be on the TV......it's a bit before my time so I don't know why I knew it was an Association Rediffusion thing from the 60's @3:52

Steve, perhaps beg one of the Photoshop 'aces' to comp both wheels onto a pic of your car ? Pop a request in the Photography & Digital Darkroom forum section, if someones kind enough to help, it might ( hopefully ) help to make up your mind.

I'm right on the fence to be honest, think the Rotors in gunmetal would look great, but the ZZR are a more unique and distinctive rim. ( For what its worth, my fave all time wheels were @ajax1976 AJ's A8 20", the ones before the Speedlines ( I think !!)
 
Steve try a request to @AndyB-S3 he us very good with photoshop

It would take forever to go back through all his wheel changes !
 
It's very close for me but think I'm swaying towards the Bolas. Rotors have been around a while although they do still look great I think the car needs to be quite low for them to work. For me the Bolas seem to look larger and even with the fair size of arch gap on the front of the red avant they look great, in fact I think they look better at that height than the lower rear height.

Exactly my thoughts on the bolas looking bigger, I think it's because the centre part is smaller making the spokes appear longer
 
nope steve, they look larger by sheer design, the thinner spokes and larger open areas between them provide an optical illusion thus making them look larger than the rota's , wheels with thinner spokes and larger spaces do look bigger, but not lots of spokes, the bolas are a great example of that illusion in action, i'd go with them over the rota's.
 
I agree, Bolas are my choice but the car needs to be low.
 
Get yourself a set of Rs4s. They suit these cars perfectly, giving them a classy look in an anthracite colour. :sunglasses:
 
Thanks for the input everyone I was kind of hoping bolas would win and so far they are. Just a small matter of finding the funds now (determined not to get these on credit but we'll see!)

BOLA ZZR's! :) Looking at a set of these myself, just need to sell the Bentley's!! :shrug:
 
Ive changed my mind over the years with alloy wheels in general.

Ive gone from liking all types of aftermarket wheels to now pretty much trying to keep it within the samne brand and within Audi's design.

So..in my opinion, I like the Rotors in this partcular case
