Bought a bam 2003 S3 8l in a colour I wasn't originally looking for at the time -silver. Have to say I truly is in my opinion the best colour for this car. The car a has mint black leather.
To date the car is standard ish apart from updated alloys and tyres. BBS ch staggered with 225 and 235 Goodyear f1 asm2s. Can't fault them. On my list of things to do I hope to get some decent suspension.
In side and out I have fixed and replaced old parts with oem from Audi Doncaster who are brilliant. The stereo is Audi @ Bose which for me is a great sound. Only thing missing is being able to play my iPhone music, I need to look into this and the best options. The stereo and air on unit need replacing with new ones to the don't have the rubber coating scratched off.
I have also replaced the main light switch and the interior sensor switch.
Out side I have not had to do much as the car was a bargain with a comprehensive full service history. The door blades were loose but the previous owner did not realise they just needed screws which have been replaced. Ive cleaned the head lights, replaced the wiper blades and been to the steelers for the battery cover which needed replacing. £100 but not too bad.
I would like a re spray on front and rear bumpers and bonnet for the odd marks and scratches. Other than that it is OEM.
When I can afford a newer S3 or S4 then it's hopefully going into storage. Never know might be worth something on day.
