p/s window motor

hi folks just joined this forum. iam going to buy a a4 cabrolet b6 chassis. the p/s front window isnt working. how east is it to change. and is there any other motor from the audi range. ie a a4 saloon be the same.

More likely the cable, you can get repair kits from the motor factors.

If the motor is turning and you can hear a grinding sound then it's the cable.

thanks for the reply guys. ive left that one alone. had a few more issues. but iam looking at a 2004 modal atm with a few minor problems that i can fix real easy.
