Just wondering how you fit the s3 intercooler pipes to an a3 2.0tfsi and what you need to do this..

Ive used the search button!! Lol but cant find any guides could someone point me in the right direction please.

Thanks :grin::grin:

You can use the S3 ones straight fit, or if you dont have them butcher your existing ones and fit new jubilee clips. I used the OEM S3 ones.

I purchased an s3 intercooler from one of the members on this forum which came with the s3 pipes. I have uploaded the picture of the pipes. To me it seems that they are missing the couplers? Am i right or is this how they come.

The one thing the member did say was that he had taken the rubber seal from one of the pipes but i should be able to use the rubber seal off of my car. Is that correct also?

Thanks guys

Look the same as mine, its just the gasket thing inside yours will work. Need to fit them or youll get boost leak

when I fitted the s3 intercooler to my tdi I just used the same pipes and took the metal insert out the pipe and used jubilee clips

Just been to audi to buy the rubber o-ring but looking at the diagram on his computer im going to need to buy new hoses from forge with the couplers on the end of the pipes as i dont want to be modifying the pipes further into the engine.

heres how I did mine on standard pipe

I dont no wether the piping is different on the tdi but last thing i want to do is get up to r-tech for the boost pipe to blow off as soon as the stage 2 map is on there

well im running 1.9 bar and 355 ftlbs with no probs on my tdi

What size clamps have you used and what make are they?

Is there any guide on how to do this i.e what pipes to cut, where to cut etc etc.

For such a common mod (using s3 pipes) im surprised there isnt any thing out there.

I spoke to forge and they said the s3 pipes will be to big for my car and offered no help on how to use the existing ones.
