Question about 2006 S-line A3??

Hi all

I've been looking around for a A3 TFSI S-line and think I've found one near where I live.

It's an 06 with only 60k on the clock and it's for sale in a Subaru mean dealer.

The only problem is as it's an S-line it has the nice body kit but for some reason it hasn't got an S-line steering wheel or it hasn't got S-line on the front seats.

Is this right? Am I right to be suspicious?? Don't they all come with them???

I've tired to add pics to this thread.

I have an 06 s-line sportback.

Pretty sure the full leather seats do not have any s-line branding on, mine do but I have the part leather option.

Not sure about the steering wheel, I have a small s-line badge at the bottom of the wheel but not sure if they all come with it and in any case its exactly the same steering wheel as the one on your pic minus the badge.

Its got the 18" s-line wheels, full leather and upgraded stereo, i'd be confident it was a genuine s-line.

Wow nice car, its had the Audi exclusive extras mate, its also a special edition model which was issued between 2006/2008 and only on the 2.0 tfsi engine. Check the pdf below.

yeah same seats and steering wheel as me mate,

for some reason S-Line was not embossed on the headrests on the nappa leather upgrade seats, or on the exclusive steeringwheel, i tried getting a OEM sticker for the steering wheel but looked utter poo lol

its definetly a S-line though dont worry, nice motor

Nice car mate.
I had an 06 plate s line as well.
From what I remember it had an sline badge on the steering and also sline embossed on the headrests, but the seats were all black leather..It wasn't a special edition tho..
Nice two tone leather seats and it has the built in sat nav which is a good spec to have.
Check that the timing belt has been done before you purchase or allow for it to be done in the price. Good luck mate :friendly wink:
