Went for a test drive in the s3 today....I want one!!!!..Warrington audi were great until the configured the car and gave me the price....car specd up came.to 37500 ish...so I mentioned car wow discount...then of they went to see if they could get near the figure..carwow comes back with anywere from 6- 12 percent discount...salesperson comes back with manager...and told they cannot get a anywere my figures so go elsewere please...so...anyone bought in northwest and what discount you been getting please....as would prefer to deal locally if poss
Gonna try cheshire oaks and Liverpool audi 2moro

buy it through carwow, Im on my third car through it and dealers won't get close to the one from carwow, my local dealer sheffield were £3600 away from the carwow price, its a no brainer to me.

Carwow..is a really bad thing for local dealers..........l went to buy a £29k Focus ST3 fully loaded..with a £5k deposit, they where only giving me £14,800 for my own car..got £16k elsewhere, they wanted £467/month for a new ST3...lol,l showed them my Carwow quote of £327 for the exact same/spec car, they where flabber gasted....l think the best discount l was quoted for a S3/SB from carwow was around 11%

Lesson is just travel to the best discounted showroom and get it serviced at your local

Agree.....My last three A3/S3's have been from three separate dealers via two different online car brokers, one directly to the dealer via the broker the second negotiated price based on broker quote and all serviced/warranty work at a 4th.

I think the answer is to either go through carwow (or the likes of) or to try and research which dealers can give you the best discount - at worst you will travel 2 or 3 times to said dealer at a cost no where near what you will save!

Same story. Went in with my Carwow quotes, dealer choked.

It was cheaper to drive to Coventry, stay overnight and then drive back rather than go a couple of miles from the house.

I'll send you a PM now about Cheshire Oaks. They were £170 more than Coventry with 10.3% off.

I wasn't going to travel to Coventry for the sake of that :)

I went into my local dealer (Grimsby) with my carwow quote and wasnt expecting them to come anywhere near it to be honest, after a bit of number crunching they actually came up with a better offer. Didn't look too happy about it as I'm sure that was probably his commission, but having bought Audis from them before and will again in the future, they probably did it to keep me as a loyal customer.

I looked at Carwow but found a better deal with Orangewheels (brokers). The only downside is that they tell you which dealership the car goes into (Crawly for North herts) so worth checking which one they would use when ordering.
